New Hydro set up! Cant wait to grow!

Me and my buddy are getting this 4 plant hydro system up and running. 4 Skywalker plants are sprouting as we speak. We are using 2 150w hps set up on each container, plus a few blue cfls for vegging. Let me know what you think! Ill add more pics when the plants are in the clay.

I see that there is a "slim heater" (or at least thats what i think it says) in your set up. You should not need this, ideal res temps are 68 degrees F. IMO you will be fighting to keep them down that low. Good luck. Don't forget those 150's are gonna make some heat not too much, but plan on it.

Soil and Hydo don't mix well. Rockwool is better to start seeds for hydro setups. Happy growing. And trueno is right under the light res won't need heat.

thats funny, i didn't catch the jiffy's. warlock is right, those will most likely dissolve into your res. I used to use rapid rooters with great success they hold up through a lot, but rockwool is the best hydro choice.

Ya I use rock wool for all of my seeds, someone tricked him into getting those at the hydro store. Ive rinsed dirt off roots before though and had a successful transplant. Thanks for the heater advice!!! I should have thought about that. I grew CFL before and i had heaters it seemed to work, but your right these put off enough heat to return them. Here is an update of the actual grow room and set up. What do you think?

This is all prop 215 in CA but should i take the pics down of our faces?

YA you'll be fine with the peat pellets for this round. I have used them in my hydro system before, just cause that's what the clones came in. The net bag coupled with the hydroton will keep any sediment from getting into the reservoir.

If your a legal med patient you should be fine especially with only 4 plants. I to am a med patient though and I wouldn't post my picture.

I'm prop 215 too but wouldn't show pics of my face. Atleast if you get a good shot but a face is the black it out using paint or something.
