Hello, I'm a Michigan medical marijuana patient, been growing off and on since 2008, and am a 5th generation crop farmer. I moved about 4 years ago and finally got my grow back up and running. I'm amazed at how far lighting and nutrients have come since I've been out of it. I'm looking for a place to hang, post some grow shots and bounce some ideas off some people but mainly to catch back up to speed about indoor growing.
My setup.
3x3 tent for seedlings and clones. 4 bulb 2 foot T5 ho from HTG (not impressed with this light)
2x4 tent for veg. 400w MH (soon to be a 4x4 tent with 600w MH)
5x5 tent for flower. 1000w HPS when it's full and a 600w HPS for when there's only a few plants in there.
I use all NextGen digital ballasts.
I run a modified/simplified TLO recycled soil system, combination of seeds and clones.
Veg in 1 gallon pots and flower in 3 and 5 gallon pots. I just got some smart pots and air pots to play with.
5 stage RO water system.
Base nutes are General Organics BioThrive. Mainly just the Bloom, I won't replace the Grow when it's gone.
Foliar feed with a solution of BioWeed, BioRoot, Fox Farms Big Bloom and Thrive Alive B1 green.
Myco blend from kelp4less.
I recently got a sample of some Mammoth P and I must say, the difference I've seen in just 48 hours has me very excited about that product.
I also plan on playing with some different things, Great White myco, Grow More Bio-Cozyme and Grow More Jump Start. Possibly some Nectar of the Gods Olympus up and Hades down. Recharge also caught my attention.
I'm working on converting an old china led to a cob led, once I get that set up I'll be taking my old 2x4 veg tent and getting that set up for some males and pollen chuckin fun. I'm a bit of a seed addict, I have a lot of older genetics that I want to preserve for personal use.
I was also getting in to grafting with some success just before I moved, been excited to get back in to that. With a 12 plant limit, having one mother with multiple strains grafted on would be a huge space saver.
That's about it. Any suggestions or comments, good or bad, are always welcome.
