New here like it so far...

Lot's of good info and laugh's (GrowingPassion420's thread). Im 38 with 4 kids and 17 years of marriage under my belt. Been out of work and school since the early 2000's due to an accident where I messed up back pretty bad. Started using off and on after getting a recommendation. Helps with the pain but for me helps more with the anxiety and nausea related to my other health issues. I still take opiates (150mcg fentanyl patches and 10/325 norco tid for breakthrough pain). I hate the opiods but they are only 10 bucks every month with my wife's health insurance (she's a RN nurse in the NICU at a hospital near us) so until I can get a regular grow going its only when I am really bad off that I go to my local collective. In my area prices aren't to bad but are family budget is already so stretched. Eventually my goal is too stop opiates altogether.

Got my first grow going info here https://www.rollitup.org/stealth-micro-cab-growing/518607-noneed4me2s-first-medical-cabinet-grow.html#post7256516

I was a mechanic for awhile, worked all through high school, was in the Army in a medical unit (my mos was 91b) no deployments I was out before 9/11 and to sick by then to serve. I fix PC's as a hobby but lack of funds limit that hobby for obvious reasons. I am currently under appeal with SSI for my disabilities and can't tell you what a nightmare that's been trying to get the Feds to cough up what I am owed based on my inability to work. I have been so depressed for so long its just how I live. I am a broken down, misanthropic, cynical, jaded joke of a man but I still try in my everyday life (when I have to interact with others) to be kind, tolerant, and patient when having to deal with the less than ideal rest of the human populace.

Enough about me, hope to give and get good thoughts and info.

Welcome brother, there are alot of good members here to joke around with, get grow advive & helpfull info or just bullshit back n forth with,we have our share of trolls too & even a super troll or two but all in all its a good place to spend time, especially whem your trying to keep your mind off how much your fucking back hurts.

Your not alone on the pain management issue either, there are several here who have painfull health issues,im one of them too,a little over 12% of my body recieved 3rd degree burns as well as serious issues with my back & spine from the impact trauma from being blown 30 feet durring the explosion I was in.

Multiple painfull skin graft surgerys as well as nearly a dozen spinal & back surgerys,i was on fentynal & MS Contin for years, right now my daily dose is 4 80 mg oxycontin,4 100 mg nucynta,3 10 mg methadone & 3 30 mg roxycodone, the roxys are optional & im supposed to eat them along with the oxys every 6 hours when the pain becomes unbearable,i also use another pain killer called Stadol NS for the severe migranes I get every so often from all the opiates, stadol is a liquid nasal spray that a single burst is equal to a 25 mg demerol injection, believe me I know how you are living & I feel for ya.

Keep your chin up,the bs with ssi will work itself out sooner or later & when it does you will be all set with back pay from the day you filed a claim, they will try & pay you the back pay in 3 seperate installments if you allow them.

I retired early at a loss to my monthly pension because of my injuries,if I woulda worked another 2 years my pension woulda been $6,500 every month but since I left early I only get $4,600 a month,im also currently fighting with SSD for my disability payments, they estimate I will recieve a little over $3,000 a month once I win the appeal, the fukers owe me allmost $40,000 right now in back pay.

I know it seems like you will never get what they owe you but trust me you will, just on the issue of the narcotics you take for pain management you will win your appeal,we just won my wifes appeal, they denied her because supposedly her multiple sclureosis wasnt bad enough to keep her from working & at that time she couldnt walk without my help & had tremors much like grandmall seizures,it took us about 22 months to win her case.

Be patient & never ever miss a doctors appointment or any physical therapy & you will win your appeal, trust me you will.

Take care.

Thanx delvite already perused your guide which matches a ton of other like info I have been cramming up on. Its great that people feel open enough to share this knowledge in a way that's not hard to grasp and come to similar conclusions on methods, so increasing reliability. Yours had alot more technical info I am still digesting; especially all the light info. Appreciate the efforts.

Thanx Panhead.

At this point I will be happy with anything, just to be able to provide something other than being there for my family again would be great. Sorry about your injuries. I had friend suffer similar burns in a shop accident and he was never the same after. Mine is not as bad as some so I count my blessings. With SSI its just a matter of getting away from this 92 year old judge, who goes against his own doctor's judgment that I can't work, and says since I can stay home with my kids, I am alright. My case is over 7 years now and my attorney is ballparking a big chunk once it gets out of his hands. This is my third apeal so he cannot rule again on his own decision. I've been cleared by the fed doctors twice now. My wife thinks since he's so old he must be racist as she is black (she always goes with me to court), but who knows. Whatever it is I pissed him off about something.
