New guy needs some help

I think I have a problem, maybe not, so here I am. Im using a 6 gal SH bubbler setup, I have 5 babies in rockwool, they are 8 days old, all have one set of leaves, except for one, which has them, but very small, and deformed looking, the 2 best ones, their leaves are lime green in color, the other 2 are dark green. I have them on 1/4 dose of FF Big Bloom for Hydro. My TDS says 325 ppm, I have set my PH to 6, and it creeps back to 7.5 over night, using a milwaukee 600 meter, calibrated daily in 4 and 7 buffer solution, res temp is 69,room temp 79, hunidity 38% (I live in the desert). I did a res change yesterday because my water smelled kinda funky, smells that way today too, I assume its the nutes, not sure, I just PH'd it back down to 6, is it normal for it to creep back up like that? Maybe Im just worrying too much, they dont look stressed or anything, but this is my first grow, I thought this was going to be easy! Also have them on a mix of 2700K, and 6500K CFL's at 195 Watts, Oh, I am also using just tap water, any help appreciated :?

Did you pre-soak your rock-wool in PH adjusted water before using as recommended? When using city tap water I like to fill a bucket a day or two before using, to allow the chlorine to off-gas. You said your ppm is @ 325, is this before adding nutes? I would suggest to a first time grower to start in a soil or soil-less medium where there is a larger buffer and things don't tend to go wrong so quickly. Having said that you seem to be on top of it and will no doubt have a great harvest to come. They are very young and will come around. I am not sure why your PH is fluctuating that much. How often are you watering? Make sure not to over water early on. Your humidity will go up as you plants fill the room so don't worry about that now. Temps seem good. Smells funny? Dose it smell funny as soon as you add the nutes or the next day? Do you have an air stone or some aeration in the res tank? They shouldn't really need any nutes at that size.
And to add a bit more... It often happens that the first leaves start off a bit off. (deformed or off color) so don't sweat it yet. Keep an eye on PH, let the water sit to off-gas chlorine and don't over-water.

Its a bubbleponic system, its constantly watering, TDS in tap is around 80, I added nutes as I was instructed with the kit, 325 after adding nutes, 2 air stones and a bigger air pump was added, I also added around 3 oz of H20@ at 3% this morning...Rockwool looks very soggy, I thing Im going to shut the pump off a while and let em dry out a little

You know, this smell I'm smelling is mildew...Can these rockwool cubes get too wet? I thought they were supposed to have a continuous supply of water in one of SH bubblers...according to the instructions...should I transplant to some new cubes? I turned off my pump and flushed the pots with 5.5 PH'd water:evil:

They are young and don't need to much water yet and can are having trouble with the rockwool holding water. AS soon as the roots get past the rockwool they will perk up.
