Growing in coco
Using Athena pro line

currently feeding at 3EC at 5.5 ph
I’ve been feeding 5.5ph for the past 4 feeds to lower run off ph but it’s not dropping

room temp
70-77
Humidity 60-66%
Keeping my VPD in the .8-1.2kpa

run off is
3.1-3.2 ec
6.2-6.3 ph

In day 34 of veg

drip feeding with 25% run off

Please help only a hand full of plants are showing these systems and I don’t won’t them to die

only showing the problems on new growth!

spoke with Athena because I would run there pro line at 2ec and they said raise to 3 or else you’ll run into plant problems

it’s been 6 feeds approx 1 week and a half I’m feeding at 3ec problem ain’t going away

rest of my plants are super healthy

No Pests No Pm , not even fungus gnats in the room

I'm not chemical guy, but that EC sounds high.

I’m not supplementing magnesium
How do I lower the magnesium in the Athena pro line?
Get your water tested. if you got hard water with a lot of magnesium in it, might not be compatible with the line of nutrients your using. If this is the case you could either switch the nutrients out for something that works with hard water or find a different source of water for your plants.

I wouldn't be feeding it that high EC and not that low pH. Basing your feed on runoff is only going to lead to more issues.

I have a few buddy’s running the same line at 3 ec

which I thought was high so I was doing 1.5 beginning of veg then bumped to 2 but through the beginning I was having calcium deficiency and after speaking with Athena and bumping to 3 ec with in 2 days it fixed that calcium issue

I’ll do a big flush at .5 ec with heavy run off

ima just say fuck it and go buy a ppfd meter
I have a feeling it might be a super high ppfd
Since I’m veging under 1000de bulbs dimmed at 700w

What exactly are you adding to your feed?

You're not even in flower and feeding double their recommended EC. I'm going to guess that's your issue.

ive spoke with Athena directly lol they said when using there pro line don’t go under 3 ec unless it’s for clones

I’m using
Balance 1ml
Cleanse 2ml
Core 4.3 grams
Grow 7.2 grams
Ec comes out at 3 ph comes out at 5.5 after mixing

when I had it at lower ec I was getting calcium deficiency’s

here’s a pic of there chart

IDK I looked up their feed charts and didn't see the one you listed.

I did see the prices for the nutrients. I wouldn't be using them based on that alone.

"Don't go under 3 EC unless for clones". I'd steer far far away from their products.

You’re probably right
Let me finish this run see how it turns out
I’ll probably switch back to my old nutrient line so I can avoid all these problems lol

Your ec is about double what it should be. Be careful your ph is accurate too.... have you calibrated your pen?

Are you feeding at every watering?
If so, you might want to reconsider, especially at that strength.

It seems like you're at your target ppms/e.c, so why not water until you see start asking for more food as oppose of just feeding just to feed?
I know with all the bro science that tend to be passed along on this site that it maybe hard to except plain watering while in coco, but trust me when I say this, your plants are asking for it.

As I already suggested, I would do is just give it plain watering, while allowing enough runoff to drop ec during each watering, then start making the proper adjustments in regards to feeding.

You don't give plants in coco plain water. That's not bro science.
