New Grows, Looking nice.

I just couldn't stand them two pygmies in my tent using resources and amounting to nothing so I took them out and put them in a closet by themselves.

A day later and the plants are responding well.

And the second tent.

My first tent(we'll call it one)I topped them plants twice and tent two only once and one plant in tent two fimèed. I had some problems on this grow but it all seems under control now.
Tent two is starting to get very stinky but in a good way. I canètt wait to see how big the buds actually get as this is the first time growing this strain. This is a nice pic:

Tent one got a pruning this morning and I'll do a full defoliation a few day's before chop.

For the unbelievers that pruning or defoliation works just look at the difference a day makes lol.

That tall one in the back sure stretched but it will be a heavy yielder.

I know the bong needs to be cleaned. I used my oil dome as a bowl and it works great as a 2,1/2 gram bowl and it lights up like a bulb when it's burning.

Great looking grow! They look really fat for OG plants. Are they heavy feeders? Usually OG tends to yield low but you have some really nice big girls there

Yes they eat a lot. A week and they're good for new nutes. I tried to go longer and deficiencies started to show. I think these OG Kush plants are about the same size as all the rest of the kush I have grown. Them buds are just starting to get fat and I'm sure they will easily double in size yet. I trained the plants in the first tent and just let the second tent go wild all plants were topped twice. This is the first grows I have used "AN Big Bud" but to be honest I think it was a waste of money as like I said these plants look normal to me.

How long does the kush usually take to flower.I have two in with my outher girls and ive got to say although I am only a couple of weeks in my cheese and mad scientist r leaving them for dead not impressed with them in the slightest ......have a look...the kush r front centre(yellow leave) and far right

Almost all MJ plants have a 9 week flowering period. I don't keep track of how long I have been growing as I have been growing for a while and can tell by looking at the plants when they're ready. Indica plants are smaller than sativas. I don't know what cheese is or mad scientist is but looking at your pic I see healthy plants except for a dead leaf.

Out of curiousity, since I am growing an OG right now too, what range of PPM did you have in the last couple weeks of veg? Approx

I run my nutes high. In veg i start around 600ppm and rise to over a 1000 just before flip and once flipped I use a 1500 ppm mix. I know its high but these kush seem to love it.

They are known to be heavy feeders. I have mine halfway through veg in week 4 and she is drinking 800ppm down like its water and I still have 4 more weeks to go!

I am going to try something I have never done and I hope it's not a mistake, I am going to run the lamp 16/8 in the first tent and see if the extra hrs of light is beneficial or not I am thinking it is.
If I get time I will post some new pics today.

what a great grow you got going in here! I give you fair warning messing with the lights could do way more harm than good. I've seen many funky flowering schedule tweaks in attempt to cheat the system so to speak. It just aint worth it

keep up the good growing, im sticking to this thread no doubt

I know the golden rule is 12/12 and after thinking about it I have not broken the rules and will be compliant at 12/12. Why break what's not broken.
