Hey guys looking to start growing and got a question. Looking at a complete set up off of dealzers at the Mini Mortgage Lifter 3.0 - 20 Plant Hydroponics Grow Tent with the 6 plant bubble ponics system. The lighting doesn't seem like its enough and wondering if grow tents was the way to go. Been doing a lot of research and willing to spend the money for a good setup. Any help?

I'd prefer 2 -400W cool tubes linked together with a carbon filter in that area. You could rock then.
dont mean to knock on you dude, but 600 watt it going to do a better job. 2 600 watt hps with cool tubes, exhaust out, air directly intake to the light will produce a better yeild and the trim, strain depending, could be used as hash.

ive got 7 nice plants in 3 gallon pots (and 1 in a 1 gallon pot not flipping) under a 600 cool tube about to flip to flower tonight. im in a 4x4x7 tent. its a bit tight in the 4x4 tent, and the 600 cool tube xl hood barely gets me enough light coverage. wish I went with a 1000 setup.

just a heads up, as I had no idea this was going to happen when switching to flower. when you switch to flower, the temp are going to sky-rocket. im running almost 7* hotter, and I haven't even put any of my girls in the flower tent. im going to try having a fan blowing on the outside of the cool tube and see if that pulls any excel heat away. I even removed my carbon scrubber from inside the tent and put a 420cfm fan for my exit. the same fan as my intake air.

I highly recommend dialing in for flower at least 1-2 weeks before you wanna flip. don't wait till the last minute like I did. but I didnt know about the heat issue Im running into currently.

Duct a window mounted a/c into the tent. Also, 600 w is the optimum in efficiency for a 4x4 area. Go with one 1000 for anything slightly larger. Id go with 2 400s or one 1000. Personally id go with two 400s. Just sayin. Good luck :)

2x600 is not necessary for a 5x5 space, since the OP was only thinking of using a single 600w
i would agree that 2x400 w is a better suggestion than 2x600 w which is 2x the amount of power the op wanted to use

2x400 would cover that area nicely, or even 1x1000w
2x600w is not an option i would consider in the op's space

peace
