NEW GROWERS:harden off your plants!!!

I've already hardened off my plants, cause I live in cali'...but I just wanted to give anyone who's just starting out a critical heads up. I put my plants outside in the daytime the 1st. 2 wks. in solid shade...then 2 weeks in mottled shade...then they're good to go for sure!...if you just take them from inside into the bright sunlight, they'll get sunburn. indoor leaves are too tender, and MUST be hardened in order to handle the punishing sun.

Wait a minute. Some of you guys spend an entire month getting your plants used to being outdoors before you put them in full sun? You've got to be kidding! Do you have any idea how much growth you probably cost them? What's the point of starting them early indoors if you're not even going to give them full sun for the first month they're outside? Might as well just wait until the weather's warm enough and plant 'em outside from the get-go.

I'm sorry, but there's just no way at all that it's necessary to baby marijuana plants to that degree. It's a weed, guys, not an orchid. A couple of days... maybe, if it makes you feel better. But I've never even done that much, and I've never lost a single plant to sunshock. I stick 'em straight outside as soon as they're ready, and they take it from there. You guys are wa-a-a-ay overthinking this.

Never had my plants get sunburn, but if they are still weak from just starting to grow i could see how direct all day sunlight could hurt. Just never really that sunny that long here to hurt them that bad.

what do you do about bugs and pests then with all the bringing indoor and out?
 I have an army of spiders...they don't stick around when I harvest. I have all kinds of bugs...but I'm not growing in the house. there's plenty of predatory bugs as well, and I'm doing biodynamics(100% organic)...absolut ZERO bug problems!!!! the vegetarians are merely food for my legions!
