i just put my seed in soil i have a 75 wt bulb per plant is it better to use a 65 wt flood light

What type of bulbs are you using?
You dont want to use a flood light get cfls

Yeah I doubt a, "Flood Light," is going to have the proper spectrum. You need CFLs or even better get a Metal Hylide and High Pressure Sodium grow light and ballast. You can get some good deals on ebay. I'm not saying it wont work but it will deffinately not be ideal, they will make a lot of heat, use much electricity, and have only a small amount of the proper spectrum. You need blue spectrum for veg and more red spectrum for flowers, just like the sun in nature changes from summer to winter. Hope this helps. Good luck.
