Theres more @ Home Depot than MG. Which will work just fine if you use it correctly. You can make you're own fertilizer without using any of the powder. Organically. Its really not that difficult. All that liquids on the net are fine but you can do it yourself much cheaper + she doesn't need to waste money on that right now since its her first time anyway. If the research is done she can make her own.
There ya go op, buy all the raw ingredients and mix up your own , don't waste your money on something that will work right out of the 15 dollar bottle.

Yeah, this is my first summer living here and if I had known in advance how it gets hot so fast I definitely would have made my own organic compost, but sadly I didn't have that much preparation time. I'm really not trying to spend that much like you said because this is my first time and it would most likely be a waste of money. I'm just trying to feel out the process of things right now. :-P

One thing that might be a problem is bud rot from the high humidity there.
Another bigger problem may be that it's illegal there and IF she grows big plants in the backyard she'll either get ripped off or busted, Keep it indoors.

To each their own. I can make the necessary compost in my back yard in about a months time. Just not worth wasting liquid nutes on a first time 2 plant grow in my opinion. It is a hell of a lot cheaper to mix shit up from the house waste & yard waste. Just saying.

Hell no? I've read almost everywhere MG will burn up your plants. Now I'm confused again lol
Just gonna put this here, i have never sucessfully grown any type of un-mutilated cannabis in miracle gro soil! I am an amateur though, its very surprising what some of these people on RIU can do.

The trick with using any salt based nute is to use epson salts once every 2 weeks in a moderate dose.

People grow out doors illegal all the time. I don't know what her yard is like but with a little planning its not hard.

You can grow nice plants in miracle grow. Its just their stuff is hot. When using their nutes you have to mix at 1/8 strength starting out.

Not talkin bout you but most in general. You can do this many ways but if you do it natural the way it was intended you will be happy with the results. Me i am a soil grower who does things mostly organic. Like i said to each their own but if you listen 2 too many people all @ once you will be confused as hell. It is a learning experience & this site offers much knowledge. Read the FAQ section of this website & it will answer a most of your questions. If you need help ask a question or pm somebody but you cant listen too everybody all @ once. Good Luck!!! You will do fine!!! :peace: P.S. I have many friends in Albany Ga. do not know how far that is from Savannah but my Mom wants to go there for that whole Gone With The Wind Thing. LOL

Yes, confused is an understatement. Lol, very overwhelming. Luckily, I've already gotten a few PM's. FAQ, got it. I honestly have no idea where Albany is. I went from living in North GA moving all the way to South GA. Complete opposites, Savannah is such a beautiful place and would definitely recommend it. lol
