New Grower, Advice Needed!

Hello everyone, I've decided to start a little growing in my home/outdoors and could use some pointers. First, for my indoors, I've started a few plants. Used the seeds from some mids I've bought a bit back and they're on their way to growing. My main plant I've focused on seems to have some indica traits being a little wider. It's in a somewhat small plastic tupperwear container I have. I drilled a few holes in the bottom and am using miricle gro's over/underwattering protective soil. I use my tap well water from my sink, and recently started keeping in in a container for a day and then using it to possibly remove/disipate chlorine that could hurt my plants. I have been growing them under a 23watt CFL lamp and on my windows. The temperature in my room has been between 60F-75F, but mostly around 68F. My main plant is about 3" tall now. I've been trying to get her (hopefully she's a female plant!) to stay short and stubby for growing in my home reasons, where as the other plants I have under the windows constantly, are much taller and stretched out. Hopefully I'll add some photos in a little bit of the whole set up. I'm realitively inexperienced, but I've been trying to do enough research to have myself self-sufficient and will never have to buy bud again. Since my plants are small still and I don't have an abundent place to go with all of them I was planning on planting 9 plants outside and keeping my main one in here, so I'll get experience from both ways to grow when the outside temperature rises. I have had what I seem to see as the starting of some problems though.. Mainly on my main plant. Her leaves points along the edges seem to stand up, and in area on one leaf between the edges on the side, it seems like it's yellowand goes in a little extra (in my opinion). The leaves are curling just a bit too, and I can't seem to pin point what this might be cause of. Any advice for me or growing tips?

Oh and I almost forgot, I am planning on buying some seeds online and some glass pieces. Anyone have a really bomb strain for beginners or reccomendations or more advice for anything? I'm planning on keeping these seeds/plants indoors and possibly taking clones from a mother plant and turning my cabenints in possibly a sea of green set up ha. I don't know what amount of light I'd need for regular sized cabenints containing 2-3 bigger plants, and possibly 4-6 clones. I'm on a very tight budget, so I was thinking CFL's will have to do for now at least.. Any suggestions on which to buy? (6500K and daylight I presume.) I considered under cabenint T5 lights (I think that's what they are) for around $8 at walmart. I think I'd need about 4 of them. I don't know the specifications to the bulbs like how many lumen or watts or what K they burn at, so another option are just regular CFL's. Help please!
