I am new grower, i tried searching the forums for the answer but couldn't find it.
My setup is a DWC
i have 8 seedling 2 days old from germinate. They still have their "hats" on( i am not sure of the correct term I will add pictures for this). When i should i start to give them light ? I am going to start them on a 18-6 cycle under two 60watts cfls for a total of 1280 lumes. Their are sitting on RW that was soaked at 5.7. I already have build a "veg box and Flower box" with a 600 watt mh bulb, ballast, reflective hood and its all ready cover thermotech black and white reflective film. Also When should i start giving it nutrients ? or when does the plant start to show that it needs nutes ?
i also currently have other seedling which i F'ed up by telling stretched way to tall. the stems are weak, they are my "test" plants. They are stunned but i keep them around to practice the maintenance of the plants to build a habit. Which i have learn a lot from. this is not very first time growing but I am always looking to improve my plants to achieve maximum yield.
