New grow tent, 300W LED Panel, second grow ever.

Im assuming you didnt do any training on your first grow. I wish i had taken pictures of my current grow as i was training it would really illustrate well how simple it is.

Just dont over think it. Start by gently bending your plant slowly getting a feel for how flexible the stem is. You can go all the way to 90 degrees if you want. I like to do my lst on the day after i water i find the stems are the most flexible then. Always be sure you are tying the plant UNDERNEATH the fan leaves. If you tie above them the tie down can actually harm the new growth.

Just pull it over and watch it grow and turn itself upright after a day or two. Once it grows a few inches tie it back down again. You can move it wuerever you want. But you will find the lower nodes grow out and will match your main stem in height. You can lst those also and pull them to the outer edges of your pot so it forms a circle of branches all the way around.

Check your ties daily make sure they arent damaging the plant and remove them once the plantnno longer needs them in that spot to hold it in place.
Here is one of mine i did that way and made it a circle. You will find after a few weeks of doing it how the plant reacts and how much you can really bend it. You may be surprised

Thank you for that thought out input. I am transplanting her to a bigger pot today. I will water her and start some LST and see what happens!

Well I am freaking out a little bit. She looked awesome before I took her out of her old pot, and then I transplanted her into the new bigger pot and left her downstairs in the garage for a few while I got her water ready, and when I came back she looked GRIM lol I will take some pics here in a few mins, but she practically fell over, it is crazy the difference that happened in just that short period. Leaves totally droopy and hangy, yikes...I hope she perks back up now that she is in the new pot and I watered her. Probably not a good idea to start LST yet lol

She's probably freaked a little because of repotting... she should bounce back

Well she is now in the bigger pot and what will be her final home. She was looking REAL bad earlier before lights out after the transplant, but she has perked back up considerably... although a lot of her leaves still look all twisted and mangled for some reason. I guess from the trauma of the transplant, geez..

I like the new pot size though, and I drilled little holes around the whole rim of the pot so I can have tie down spots to train her a bit after the shock is over. It's funny how these little plants can worry us so haha.

She is kind of "bent out of shape" lol its gonna be perfectly fine. Nice healthy green.

LOL You ain't lying there! She really didn't care too much for that transplant, but I agree, I think she is going to be just fine in the long run.

Question what is that across the pot holding it down? Is that a string or wire? Also you may want to move it back slightly it looks like it is right where the new growth is going to go and you dont want it damaging the plant there. I took a screenshot and drew on it to where a safe spot is behind the dan leaves on that node. The new growth behind that spot will turn up and towards the light and should miss it. I dont lst across the whole pot that way i would cut a piece off a coat hangar and bend it over and stick it down in the soil to hold the main stem there just easier to work with but thats just my opinion. You will be surprised how fast this thing turns toward light and grows.

Thank you for that! I moved the string down to where you showed in the picture, and she has already started bending up a bit towards the light. Will definitely stick to the wire or hanger method I think though, the string was a pain in the ass lol

It was a lot of fun for me learning to lst and watching the plant respond. I like to use these lil things from arts and craft section theyre soft easily bendanle and you can cut them to the size you need. Bag of 100 at wal mart for i think 2.50

Nice suggestion. Those look similar to what a pipe cleaner would be huh? I will give those a shot.

So these pics are about 10 hours after the last ones. Under the light and already standing straight up again with new growth. Going to take MeanGene's advice and get me some pipe cleaners (I think that is what they are) to make the job easier as she grows around the edge of the pot. It is very cool to see how the plant responds and bends towards the light.

Question. Should I be trimming the leaves underneath that are being pressed down against the dirt or just leave them? Thanks everyone for all the input so far!!

I would not defoliate this early. No reason to stress the plant leaving fan leaves on doesnt hurt anything. Defoliation will slow growth temporarily not a huge deal if you do. your new growth chures will come up to the light on their own if fan leaves get in the way you can tuck them down or to the side. But if you wanna pluck them and see what happens go for it. Just dont take too many at once. Experience is a great teacher and you will see how the plant responds.

I will go ahead and leave them on, they aren't exactly hurting anything. If they start dying off and changing color I will pluck them as needed. Thanks for the input again as usual bro.

I am wondering how much I let her grow before I bend her over on her side again? One node? A couple nodes? Plan is to train her around the edge of the pot and then let her go.

Thats up to you. Just let it grow until youre comfortable tying it down again. Just keep checking your ties daily to make sure they arent damaging your plant. I left a tie on during flowering once and didnt think much of it amd it broke the whole arm off the stem. Heartbreaking but it was a lesson learned the hard way. I like to say experience...teacher..blah blah. Looking forward to watching this grow progress.

So I got the tent moved to its final spot in a closet that is actually going to work really well and discrete. What is awesome that is in this same closet to the right of the tent is an access panel to the attic above the garage that I will eventually vent my tent out into and out the top of the house. I will show more of this when the time comes.

I also transplanted the other nasty plant that I posted picture of into a nice brand new pot with new soil and gave it a good watering. Going to try and get the most out of her...heck why not right? So I will continue to update them both here as they are both the exact same White Widow strain. The other solo cups in the tent are fresh sprouts of some really nice bag see that was some really good dank. What's funny is the old jacked up plant actually has the potential to have like four or five really nice tops already with a little training. Thanks for reading and checking this out everyone.

Holy it got F'n hot here today on the East Coast!! Just installed a window air conditioner unit in the room that the closet is in. Need to get these temps under control and I am not running my central air for just this room lol rest of the house actually isn't too bad, but my babies were getting smoked out up there. Also happens to be my gaming room so that works out awesome...haha

yeah man i had to build a cool room to intake from. also now that my lights are on at night. i stay within 10 degrees +- now.
attic grow so yeah, it got hot before i built my cool room. staying 70-80ish now.

And how did you go about creating a cool room? Just curious, always like to get different ideas.
