new grow scene

so basically im completely new to this, first time indoor growing. me n a couple of friends had been tryin out some outdoor grows but mine ended up dying so seeing as how its gettin cold already i thought id try an indoor grow. I have the basic jist of it with all the technical work n what not and i have seeds ready to go but what i need help with is trying to get this as stealth as possible (still sharing the house sadly), so if anyone has any kind of tips at all on extra stealth grow scenes let me know. Also the one thing im not to sure on with the actual plant is when i can start flowering, im only doing a couple plants(this is more of a test then anything) and im trying to keep them small, under 2 feet for sure. Is it ok to start them flowering at about a foot? or is that to small? and about how many weeks until they ready to flower and how many weeks OF flowering? thats about it for now after that i think ill be ready to go and ill keep you updated on the progress. any help is appreciated. thanks

try useing ur attic thats wat i decided to do cuz ik my parents never go up there cuz all our stuff is close to the door and we got a big attic

yeah i thought about that and our is one of those completely unused ones to so that might work out, problem is it doesnt even have a ladder to it and the entrance is in my dads closet hahah. ill check it out though and see if that could work.

do a search for stealth box i think you will find some good ideas
a cabinet wardrobe anything really 1ftx1ftx3 for 1 plant flower at 1 foot is fine about five weeks of veg probably will give you a 1 foot plant when you switch to flower you will see quite a growthspert so be sure whatever you use has head room

so i checked the attic out and it would be a real nice spot, no one ever goes up there, 4 or 5 fans that keep air movin up there, lots of isulation on the floor so you couldnt smell it from underneath.. problem is no visible outlets. is there anything i can do about that??

poke a hole in the roof in ur room with an extendsion

thought about that but its only got one entrance on the complete other side of the house from my room n the floor isnt finished up there so i cant walk on it. i could try that from somewhere near the entrance though maybe. ill try to get some pics to show you what it looks like

If i were you, which im not. in that small of a space vertical wise i would go iwth a Screen of Green setup(Scrog). if you use a 3 foot vertical space at about 2 feet up i would put a layer of chickenwire that covers the whole inside of the box. that way when you plant grows up it will hit the chickenwire and grow horizontal. then all the budsites are getting light which will improve your yeild.

But before you even get that far you need to think about what lights you want to use(attic grows you usually want to use compact fluorescents.) especially in a space that small. heat will def be a factor cause attics are screaming hot as it is. but it is becoming wintertime so you might be alright.

as for vegetative and flowering times. in a space that small i would grow mine to probly 8-10 inches before you should flower. if you went with a scrog you could let it get to 12 inches before you flower. but your plant will double in size during flowering. the normal cycle of a plant is 2-3 weeks seedling, 4-5 weeks veg, and 8+ weeks flowering. im on my first grow and my plants are 5 weeks old and i started to flower them because they have grown alot faster than i was expecting. im at 2 feet right now and they are growing about an inch or more a day. hope this helps. just keep reading and asking questions. thats what this place is for

no its just wrong to do something illegal in sombody elses house. if the cops found it then your dad could get into alot of trouble

oh yeah true that im not really worried about cops though. kinda in one of those areas where you never see them, plus its not gunna be anything worthy of cops busting it haha i know what you mean though
