great thread, great grow. looks like you have the spot and money to get it right. maybe you mentioned it somewhere in the thread but i missed it, what kind (brand, or model) of light setup are you using for the 600 mh/hps?

I have been fighting these buggers for ever. This is my next step:fire::fire:burn you :o:o:o bleep, bleep,....
I saw that azetrol but it was like $60 for 4-8 oz. I figured I would see if this organicde stuff works.

If you get the azetrol let me know how it works. I would pay $100 if I new it would work...

Sorry I'm ranting, that's what the master kush does to you . :-o:-o:-o:-o

Never used or even heard of that stuff before. All I've ever used is Safer soap. Let us know how it ends up working.

Btw, if by your name you're somewhere in NorCal, we could soon be neighbors. Got a lot of friends in the wine business (which is a lot like growing weed or anything for that matter) up there. Still don't know yet though. Great work, keep it up!! :blsmoke:

ladybugs aren't very effective IME, they just fly away. if you have time (or just to plan ahead) you can start an egg case or 2 of praying mantis in a clone dome, they tend to stay put much better as well.

and what kind of bulbs are in those fixtures?

i have the red sodium agrosun bulbs.
and i think im just gonna stay away from the ladybugs and praying mantis' i think im doing fine with the neem oil right now. but if i absolutely have to, i will get some praying mantis. i should have an update today, the lights turn on at 1 so probably after a little after i should have pics up

yeah, IMHO insects help control an outbreak before it occurs. they do very little to fight off an attack in already in progress. however i absolutely would recommend using a parasitic nematode in your soil at this point, and forever into the future to control thrips, spider mites, and a whole other variety of other soil-born critters. works amazingly well if used regularly.

thanks for the responses! looking forward to more updates

thank YOU for the responses lol, but where would i get a parasitic nematode?

we live about 30min from each other id guess. all the OSH in our area sell them in the fridge in the garden center. they are sold with ladybugs and the like...

they also should be available at any good garden center in your area. about $25 for a box, should probably treat your setup for 3 months.

niice, what town r u in? n ill go look at a few garden centers for some nematodes, thanks for the suggestion bro. hopefully this will work.
do i just put a little in each pot? or how does it work?

im in N Marin County where i grew up, although Ive spent A LOT of time up that way when i was a kid.

correct, just apply a bit to each pot. depending upon which one you buy, it will either be a liquid or a powder. add whatever it is to distilled water, or RO water - let it hang out for 30min or so and then soak the soil. i use it about 1x a month, i add it to GH "Subculture M & B" and add all together, although i use subculture soil innoculants every week.

almost.
all my H20 is RO measured with 0ppm TDS i make at home, thats the first step to success.
i use subculture m&b 1x weekly - applied with a very very dilute solution of floranova grow/bloom (the smallest amount i can measure out and let it sit in a jug for about 30min before i apply)
i use the nematodes 1x monthly (and do it and the subculture on the same day, not the day i apply fulvic acid)
GH floranova grow/bloom depending upon the phase im in 1/2tsp per gallon as recommended
fulvic acid at 85ppm sprayed on the leaves once a month, followed by the weekly dose subculture m&b

thats my basic veg plan. ive got a lot more experience in small outdoor grows setup for personal use, and ive only completed a few indoor grows, but thats what i was shown and its worked really well for me so far.

sweet, well im not using the floranova series, i ise the 3part system floragro, micro and bloom. also i have florablend, floralicious plus, superthrive, meta k, sensical, and kool bloom i think theres a few more things i use but thats most of them, should i water with the nematodes and the subculture seperate, in the same containers, or on a completely different day, or does it not matter?

I in no way meant to tell you to change your fertilizer regiment. i was just showing you mine so you could compare it to yours and see where you might be able to fit in the subculture and nematode into your program.

id do the nematodes and the subculture on the same day, from the same container.
