New grow room design...opinions is what i need

ok so i have a new spot i can move too for my medical grow.....its a old laundry closet in a friends place. the room is 5.5'L x 3.5'W x 7'H. its just big enough to my personal medical herbs. I have 1000 watt mh/hps, but its an old reflector that is not able to be air cooled, so heat would be an issue i believe. So long story short in my old place i never had heat issues cus the size was just too big. Now that i have to move to this new spot, i know nothing about heat or light. so i am willing to invest some $ in air coolable lights,fans,carbon filters etc.... I just want some help with setup, i dont know much about ventalation so please ay opinions on any thing would be awesome..thanks

you should grow in your own closet and not in a friends. your already breaking the #1 rule

well, thanks but you didnt get it.....it may be my closet it may be someone elses thats in the same house...just opinions about design please dont be a dick

$ doesnt come easy so the least expensive to get a decent 400-600 watt setup. but i dont want to be too cheap so maybe 500-700

check craigslist for a nice light, they have really good deals sometimes. I saw a factory or some large manufacturer going out of business and they were selling a 150W light with a ballast go for $30 the other day.

are you trying a stealthy grow in the closet or will no one else be peeking in there?

ITS definately somewhere that doesnt exactly have to be stealth but heat absolutely can not be an issue at all. light and smell i can control......i saw someones setup that uses a air cooled light and a carbon filter all in one fan i would like to do this if its efficient. any ideas?

1000w is kinda large for a closet sized room.ebay has 400w for $57 buy it now,used ballast no case, new bulb and new reflector.

alright thanks man.......helps a bit....how are you temps with that 400 watter and yeilad as well?

hard to read your sketch -- - Try drawing a top view of it and then a side view looking at the 9' long side, and one looking at the 3' long side. If you could draw by hand and scan it, that would prob work better. I've done a lot of ventilation research, and would like to help, but just upload something more legible.

edit: shit, i just realized how out of date this thread is...
