New Grow...Need help!!!

started 12 bagseeds...all but 4 have popped through. I'm wanting to grow a couple of females,ScrOG style, with topping and training. My set up is 2, 150 watt CFL's with desk fan blowing down on plants. Plan to add 2nd fan on Tuesday. Temp varies from 75 to 90 with lid cracked. Need some feedback on how to weed out males early and make the most out of my set up.

there is no way to tell which are males until it time to flower. until then just try to not put the plant under to much stress the more stress the less chance for females dont over water, give the right amount of nutrients, good light, and level ph in the water should help keep stress low while the plant grows.

it is normally its 50/50 but i plant 10 normally and 7 or 8 are females now t grow under 8 100watt cfl in about a 4x4 box i built as a small in table in my bedroom

no I mean in the tub how many you think will fit in it and how soon can i tell for males what can i do to weed them out

The males will show their "parts" either when they preflower or you force them into flowering and wait 1-2 weeks.
All you have to do is throw those babies OUT.

Are you leaving that lid cracked? Thats going to be wayy to warm dude.
Figure a way to get about 75ish degrees in there. Goodluck!

ok so foce them to flower in 1-2 weeks get males out put female back under 24 hour light to put them back in veg mode and do you think I should top them and train them and scrog them

why would you force the females back into veg? that will definitely stunt your growth.

Dude, you really should read the FAQs. GROWFAQ

but if i forcce them to flower that early I should just let them bud at 1-2 weeks or let them got back to veg to get bigger

If that things ispackedwith lets' say 8 ladies at oh, say 20" and that's TINY that's a heck of a lot of ladies packed into a hot plastic tub. How are you gonna' water them if you can;'t even see them? the lighting is too little for 12 plants, too, but good luck, although I see at most four plants in there.

nope got 12 just want 2 3 females top them keep them smalll train them i just need to weed out the males fase so i can just have a few females in there scrog them to

well its been about 30 minutes and I cant tell any difference in the growth....
Will update again in 30 minutes.....

i agree, by the time they are naturally showing sex its going to be a very fair amount more difficult to train them into a screen if even possible, plus your screen needs to be close to 70% full when you switch to flower in scrog or your not really reaping the benefits of this method. before i did my first scrog i just googled it and read every bit of information i could find. to be honest with you for this grow you would be better off just LST'ing the plants and taking cuttings from the females to use in a scrog. you can still get a good yield this way and you will be able to pick the best genetics for the scrog. anyways all of what i just said will be in every faq about scrog. you should stick to a really basic grow before you try anything fancy, an inexperienced grower fumbling around with somewhat advanced techniques can equal huge disappointment.

thanks man so low stress training no scrog what about topping too see i thought scrogh so i can keep them down frow the lights and half in tub just want 2 or 3 female stated 12 to be safe just need to weed out males fast

Im new here, but I will chime in. Id say start with 2-4 plants and learn to grow first. Then maybe you can move on to more advanced techinques. I spent about 3-4 weeks just reading this forum, and using the search button till I ran out of things to search for. I learned a ton.

Just grow a couple plants youll learn alot. You dont want to Scrog with seeds not worth it imo. You want a female so you can take clones from her, so you have all females for when you scrog.

If your planning on growing from seed to harvest in that container you'll need to flower them right when they mature (5 leaflets)... because they will over grow that container. and heat is going to be a major issue. keep the lid off unless you have to hide it!! good luck! Oh yea, when you flower... you'll see the males they have balls(pollen saks).

What do you mean by 5 leaflets?
