I've had a rough fucking start. Worse start I've ever had. I'll share what I told GM in private conversation.

"I gotmy ass fucking kicked by some fucking birds I'm guessing. I had over 100 seedlings of R2, R2 Poison, Church X PW, and PW get fucking destroyed in one day back on Monday. Had them in clear totes with the lids off and to tall for rabbits to get into and fishing line ran around the perimeter keeping the deer out and almost every fucking one had the stalk bit in half close to the soil. Didn't fucking eat em just cut em down for fun. I was so fucking disgusted. I have never had anything like that happen before. Needless to say there is chicken wire across the tops of them now. And in my main patch I had 49 mostly of Marcos strains. Everything that was small as in 5 inches or under got fucking destroyed in one day. I'm pretty sure it was rabbits considering there was a fucking herd of them when I walkedin there that day and those mother fuckers didn't even eat them, just bit them off like what happened in the totes. I lost like 8 Rum Bayou x BT, most of my Candy Train, Super Silver Haze X PW, and most of my Double Black X SeaWarp. I've never had issues like this in that spot ever. I always run 3 strands of fishing line around the perimeter to keep the deer at bay but don't fuck with chicken wire in this spot cause it's never been an issue....so much for that. Learning that its best to always plan for everything that can go wrong whether it tends to happens in a particular spot or not."

And the hits keep coming. I had a corn field in close proximity to my humble abode. I put out 29 of R2, R2 poison, poison warp, and Church x PW. I waited to see if it was round up ready corn or not. Well the corn was about 18 inches tall and not a weed to be found so it looked like the weed control was done before the planting. So I put them out there about a week ago and when I went to check and water Sunday night I noticed tractor tire marks that were fresh and my heart sunk. Sure enough the fucking corn is round up ready and all of my plants got cooked. Sick to my stomach. I cracked some more beans but its getting late in the game.

boy that's a tough start,i think u might be dealing with mice-rats never seen a wabbit just chew stalks on baby plants,its impossible to for c every thing just keep hamering,mice an rats were my biggest problem growing in swamps,chicken wire doesn't work for them

real happy with this new spot.wasnt expecting it to get sun until around 9-10.after topping some small spruces and limbing some maples,im getting sun around 7-730:hump: there was a bit of a lane i hadnt noticed where the previous landowner had cut his wood road into.he logged off a lot of big pulp in the 80's/90's.the clearing gets east/west sun til about 6pm.ive got one more planter to put together the 6th is going to be in a bag.ran out of lumber and motivation lol

You may very well be right. The ones that I put out at 6 plus inches took off and I put out quite a few that were small with 1 or2 nodes. Everything was taking off and no problems then in one fucking day the smaller ones got it. And just a day apart from the seedlings in the totes disaster. I should have something at the end of season though. I'm growing this year more out of my passion to grow than any other reason. A big harvest isn't necessary but the more the merrier lol.

Sorry to hear, I have had that happen one year, slugs, mice , rabbits. What ever they were ruined over 300 starts. Each batch I put out only a couple lived. Not a good year that year. But I kept going and did harvest something.

Well finally got a few out there after the coldest Spring I can
remember! First 3 pic's are Purple Afghan Kush and last is Pinewarp x
SSH from the Marco seed bank. The PAK has been "growing" for
3 weeks but has been stunted by evening temps. Only plus is
where their at they get 10-11 hours of sunlight!!!!

Crazy hail and hard down pours in my part of Mass today. Several of my plants got the leaves torn off by the hail. The plants are in 3 gallon sacks and some plants got real wet soil. Do I just let them dry out. Should I trim any of the torn leaves off or let it be.

I've got a male and don't know what it is. My I.d. paper has it as Amherst SD but I had 3 of those and they are feminized. This is not a hermie. I'm thinking maybe a skidder trail but not sure. I pulled a skidder trail male couple days ago but they are different phenos if so. Probably going to dig him up tomorrow and put him a bucket and move to collect pollen.

The pure skidder trail shouldn't be purple/ lavender.honeybee x skidder could. Or rb x bt definitely yes

Damn middler, I have to hear about your luck so far. Hopefullyit will take a turn for the better. I've had my entire vegetable garden seedlings torn up like that one year an I was so livid.

I've got 3 Honey Bee X Skidder Trail and they all look identical and no purple. I'm baffled at what this fucker is. I've got one other plant that's looking like it's a female though I havent seen a white pussy hair yet. Very thick stalk like the male and lots of purple showing through. I'm all but absolutely positive that they are not Rb x bt. I put those in a totally different area of the patch unless I got a mix up but I don't really think I did. I dug that male up and put him in a 5 gallon bucket to go isolate him and collect some pollen from him.

thank you thump.i love every part of it,even if i complain lol.the garden is the one place i feel 100% organized(not now,the damn site looks like tornado alley.clean up is my last step)

Whatever it is its developing fast.

As of right now I have 1 female Double black x Sea Warp and lost 6 other s not yet sexed. , I have two candy train not yet showingse. 1female of ct or rum b x bt .1 female brain twister. One female hb x st, 3 Amherst SD.. And some HB x St, blue dream x seawarp, seaweed, brain twister, candy train, db x bt poison warp and R2.

I just cracked some maniac crack beans, poison warp, r2, and r2poison. Not sure how they will do this late but I'm pretty fucking confident the maniac crack can still kick some ass.
