OK, I think I got a double rainbow. My shooting star seedlings are starting to pop out of the rockwool and one of them is two plants coming out of one seed. In all my years of growing, I've never seen that before. Should I throw it out because it's probably genetically predisposed to being male/female or should I see if it turns into the ultimate smurfberry bush? These shooting star seedlings are rocking some serious purple at a very young age. Looks sweet.

Os - i've seen it with TGA lines before. don't worry about it, and don't bother trying to seperate them (I've tried a couple times and they both end up dying), just cull the weakest one in a 7-10days (it will be obvious which is strongest by then) so it doesn't stagnate the stronger one.

Cheeba - no US company will ship within the US, it is against Federal law (so is growing, but no company will risk it). if you are outside a Med state where you can get beans, overseas or Canada is your best bet - honestly, don't sweat it. the feds don't care about joe schmoe home grower anymore, if they catch the seeds you get a little notice letter instead of the beans, NO action is taken (I've never ever seen action taken myself. not to say it hasn't happened tho). If you order during the hollidays, packages are EASY to get through. but I've never had an issue myself.

Keep it going! Like EC said, cull the weaker of the two once you've got a good idea of who is going to be the champ.

The Ski Trains had roots coming out of the 4" x 4" cubes at 11 days, but they're going to have to wait a while until I put them in 5 gallon hydroton buckets and really let them blow up.

95% germination rate on the shooting star seeds or 100% germination rate if you take into account the fact that 303 Seeds accidentally put one extra seed in my pack.

You got an "Elway Pack"!!!! Lucky! That was no accident, we do that on purpose! About 1 in 10 packs has an extra bean according to the assembly crew...

personally, i think it is a good marketing strategy and a win-win. buyer purchases a 10pack, gets 11 or 12 "WOOHOO!!" ... happy buyer that is more likely to return (and send friends) and the extra bean or two doesn't matter in the long run for the supplier

Everybody likes free stuff...and who doesn't want an extra shot at their "holy grail" plant? I do!

303 Seeds now has retailers up in the hills! The sales team was out last weekend and in the middle of checking out the Dew Tour they found time to hit up a couple of shops in Breck and Vail that now carry 303 Seeds.

Organix in Breckenridge

Herbal Elements in Eagle/Vail

The website has all of their address, phone, and web info, so hit it up for more details.

I always have some kind of problem when I decide to veg in my flower room and I never seem to remember that until it's too late. Here's one of my Ski Trains at 16 days. See how part of the leaf on the left is kind of deformed and curled up in some areas? I'm thinking it's from too much light, too little water, or a combination of the two. I'm sure it's not CO2, but I don't use CO2 in my veg room and I do use it in my flower room so I was wondering if that might be the difference. Thoughts? The new growth looks OK...Probably just messed them up a little bit when I tried to slow them down for the shooting star seedlings...

fluctuating CO2 will not cause any growth abnormalities (they thrive fine with ambient CO2 @ 300-450).

The light green color and leaf crinkle looks like a nutrient deficiency. Give it a light nutrient dose and it should be fine. Could be light deprivation, but probably just wants some food.

Ski Train at 3 weeks in veg. Hope this one is a female. I like its compact structure. No roots coming through the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket yet. After a couple of days, they bounced back from being underwatered. Slowed 'em down a bit.

Same plant after 3.5 weeks of veg and one night of flower. Sexed her and threw out a male already. Looks like I'm going to get a 75% female to male ratio off the Ski Trains!

I made an exciting seed purchase today. I might be the first red card holder in the state to buy them. If these Ski Trains didn't look so nice, I'd throw 'em in the trash because these new seeds are burning a hole in my pocket. I'd mention the strain's name, but I think there's only a handful of people in the state right now who have the seeds so I'm a little hesitant to talk about them at this juncture on a public message board. For now, let's just say that Bubba Kush is heavily in the mix.

double bubble snowman from sub Rosa?
or maybe something from cedar berry farms?
"Barcode" by Kush Life Seeds. 303 Kush (Bubba Kush x Chemdawg) crossed with Bubba Kush. I've never seen this medicine for sale and the seeds just came on the market. Scary and exciting at the same time!

Interesting cross, sounds like fire. Are the seeds available in shops?

I think Green Dream in Boulder is the only place that is selling them right now. They also have 303 Kush.

I ended up with 75% female to male with the ski trains. 50% with the shooting stars. I like the ski trains' structure and have a really good feeling about the shooting stars after I pulled a couple fan leaves off some of them yesterday. The shooting stars only got 2.5 weeks of veg and less than a week of flower and the handful of pulled leaves already smelled like some seriously dank nuggets.
