New CFL Grow -- Please Advise

Hi I'm using a 3' X 2' X 2' box I made. It has 9 fixtures with 17 bulbs in total.

I won't have any pictures up until tomorrow but I was wondering if this is sufficient lighting for vegetation.

1X 20 Watt Grolux 6500k 80 degree flood (top mounted)

12X 23 Watt CFL 2700k (4 top mounted 8 side mounted)

4X 40 Watt CFL 2700k (Side mounted above the outside 23 Watts)

The Box is strongly lit with just the 23s and 40s which was my original setup but I just realized I needed 6500 for Veg so I just bought and added that one in.

All I really want is to grow 1 maybe 2 ladies at a time in it or possibly just keep it as a mother box once I get started.

Do you think the lighting is sufficient for my veg stage?

Man that is going to be plenty of light, but you have too much of the wrong light. Plants use up more light in the blue spectrum while growing in the veg stage. You are going to be emitting a shit load of light that the plant wont use so it's wasted.

Can't you just buy more 23W but in the 6500K spectrum?

By the way use a fan.

I have a 12" oscillating fan setup for now. I have a 4 ft fluorescent fixture was thinking maybe getting some bulbs for that. Main problem is right now my cars in the shop and I live in a hick town so I cant make it to a hardware store very easily ><

Not really sure. I only have a 15A fuse in for the outlets I'm using and haven't had any problems so far. I'm superintendent of an apartment building and hydro is inclusive here so not too worried about consumption lol

Does anyone know if the 20 watt flood light is enough of the 6500k spectrum to veg my plants or should I get some 6500k 23 watt CFLs?
