Now for a little input from you guys, should I put the camera on a different plant and on a main cola or leave it where it is so I can get a nice close up of the bud forming?

here are my 3 big girls
Chrissy She is a beast I topped her pinched off half of the new node growth and she stopped growing and just turned into a bush

Lol! I notice alittle nitrogen toxicity, I only know cause I did the same to my little ladies,
it's good in a way,so long as that's as bad as it gets, means they're taking up as much as they possibly can. I've switched mine to 12/12 now, two weeks veg,18/19" high, I expect 40/45" overall height at the end.

Your timelapse vids are going really well. its to bad i didnt catch this thread a few days sooner. There is a program u can find thru torrent sites, "nimisis webcam flix". it will do the timelapse also, i played around with it a little, but my other laptop died. I dont know if its as good as your program.

when you did the vid of the plant in the dark cycle and it seemed to "wake up" before the lights came on. how long is it till the lights come on, from when the plant seems to be waking up? this has intrigued me again, maybe ill toss a cam on a plant. id like to catch a FIM top exploding into new branches. :)

You are having too much fun with this aren't you? They look great... love the overnight vid showing how the girls sleep! It will be cool to see the HD aspect of this once you have that tweaked to your liking.

Yup they droop and stop photosynth then a couple hours before the lights come on they start to perk their leaves up and get ready before the light comes on because they know exactly when that light is going to turn on. It is cool watching the effects of the dark period, I didn't know that droop so low at night then perk up hours before the light comes on so they will be ready to eat the second the light shines

Alright I am going to throw up a test vid of the overnight flower lapse....It was taken at 30 sec intervals and plays at 240/fps but I think I am going to have to take it at greater intervals so we can see it grow faster otherwise it will look like it is growing very slow and the video will be quite long.

Well while trying to move shit around I snapped off that flower I was recording so I moved the camera to watch some pistils forming on the main stem

DSCN4254.jpg

These should grow faster than the other flower anyway, they are on the main stem a couple inches under where the cola is going to be but the cola hasn't started forming yet, Actually why don't I just capture the cola forming and flowering that sounds better, (Sorry making this up as I go)

Alrighty so I downloaded windows movie maker where I can speed up my lapses with no effort at all if the video becomes too long, just like that watering video of that seedling was 3:00 long I sped it up and now it is only 14 seconds long and it is much better to watch now take a look

I will work on a full grow lapse but I am still experimenting on the intervals and a good playback speed for the videos, Also it will take 3-6 months to get the video so you can see why I have not posted a full grow yet lol
