Bit the bullet and ordered my 5x5 Mars tent. I figure by the time it gets here and I have it set up properly the girls should be just about ready to move in ... and the 2 Black D.O.G.s won't be far behind.

Please tell me you didn't order black dog LED lights? The very best LED fixtures for growing are to be found right here on RIU; shockingly better performance for a fraction of the cost.

Opinion please....do you think my new growth looks way too yellow? I did a razz change last night and upped my nutrient levels from 500 to 700 ppm. Am I just seeing way more growth or am I overdosing my girls? Looking form some input before I make any moves...

If Hunter Thompson was still alive & living in Colorado- he would be writing an Awesome book on the Colorado Experience. LOL What your describing is my worry about MA.- just need to quit micro-managing established law- power brokers have bigger fish to fry(infrastructure, opiod issues, corruption, etc.)
But they get lots of money for micro managing!

You cut me to the quick sir ... I am a dedicated DIY quantum and COber ... No overpriced prefab lights in my tents! Perhaps I should have been more explicit ... HSO Black D.O.G. seedlings. :)

So you are saying I should send back the 1200w and 600w cheapo cob from Amazon? My buds bulked and frosted up quite nicely. Course I had the 1200w at less than 6" from the tops and they didn't burn.

I would run the 600 @ 24 " - And get a Lumin Meter(cheap on Amazon)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004K0A7I6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then measure @ canopy- takes out some guesswork + google lumins and cannabis for best range-Wanna say 65000- 85000, but had great results @ 45000(milage may vary)
Nutrient range in Hydro at veg. should be 700-800 PPm based on 5 scale -any higher in Hydro, risk lockout/ burn, so your good there+ add hydroguard, assuming your doing hydro(best insurance Against Root Rot) Hope this helps I'll measure mine tonight(lumins) and let you know. The hand test doesn't work- I've light burned plants when I could put my hand 2" from cooltube- Its intensity- sure old school MH/HPS got freaking hot- with Cool tubes ,not so. Two different kinds of burn_ i burned My WW. early with LED I could put my hand on(showed up as yellow tips) then you have to read rest of plant, in order not to be DR. cannabis and diagnose Nute burn/ def.
Here's the chart:

I spent hundreds of Hrs. researching before jumping into this venture- And many out here have been doing it for 20-30 yrs, but the hard and intuitive part is separating the FACTS from the chaff( too much info and its hard to separate BS, wrong info, etc> from whats real- and works( at least for you)-based on experience- and I have NONE - not for 40 yrs. So use your common sense, don't listen to too much hype(bigger buds, treehouse size plants, lights that can send beams to Uranus( bad play on words) - learn about how plants work, attempt to breed(in our case) feed& eat, light requirements for artificial Sun , Etc. Milage May Vary

Stebbins & Ttystikk- Thanks for the "Like"- Was going to send as a reply to Stebbins, as he is REALLY trying to get it right, but ended up as straight post( not gonna blame the White Widow) - To Stebbins- keep learning, just follow common sense- and lean on the folks that are getting it- To Ttstikk- Thanks for the wisdom you have imparted to these good folks( Kharma Works)

Day 38 on Pineapple Kush- Flipped on 3/10. Avg. inch per day growth; now @ 30 "- have topped many times ,so lots of bud sites(10-15 per plant)- Eating well, dropping 80-100 PPM per day, with Ph staying steady- so dialed in @ 10/10/10 per 1 gal. addback- thinking of switching to Lucas 8/16 at this point, but if its not broken, don't fix it. Sorry about pic light, but always get lights on, and don't want to shut off and screw with light cycle- and when off, don't want light leak to photograph

Cloth pots offer an interesting challenge for LST. Tried attaching the pipe cleaners to plant markers in the soil last night, but they weren't resistant enough. Today, I'm trying a new approach. Instead of trying to tie the tops down, I'm hanging weights off them ... starting out with 17 grams. It's keeping them bent but will rise with the plant's growth and not cause a split. At day 44 from seed, the plants are finally starting to show daily development. I will probably add a 2nd set of LST ties at 90 degrees from the current ones within a day or 2 to open up even more nodes. I'm finally starting to feel like I'll get to my desired pre-flower height of 14-16" by the end of next week. These should at least double during stretch so that should give me a really nice scrog canopy. I'm going to clone all 5 so I can reproduce any good phenos but I still don't have any cloneable branches.
I'll post more photos later today of the weights prove to be sufficient.

Safety pins work great on cloth pots. And then you attach your twist ties to the safety pins

Got this from Senator Jehlen's office this morning

JOINT COMMITTEE ON MARIJUANA POLICY TO HOLD STATEWIDE HEARINGS

(BOSTON) – Today the Joint Committee on Marijuana Policy, chaired by Senator Patricia Jehlen (D-Somerville) and Representative Mark Cusack (D-Braintree), announced details for the four public hearings they will be holding across the state. The hearings will allow the committee to receive testimony from advocates, state officials, municipalities, and the public, among other groups.

The first hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 20th at the State House and will begin at 11:00 AM in rooms A-1 and A-2 with an executive session for the committee to adopt rules, followed by testimony.

Representatives from the following groups have been invited to testify:
- Organizers of ‘Yes on 4’
- Treasurer Deborah Goldberg
- The Department of Public Health
- The Department of Revenue
- The Department of Agriculture
- The Office of Attorney General Maura Healey
- Stephen Crosby, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission Chair

Public testimony will be taken at the conclusion of the invitation portion of the hearing.

Subsequent hearings have been scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:

- March 27th, 4 PM, West Springfield High School Auditorium
- April 3rd, 11 AM, State House, Rms. A-1, A-2
- April 10th, 4 PM, Shrewsbury High School Auditorium

Members of the public will be invited to testify on issues related to legalized marijuana at each of the four hearings; however, the specific bills being heard at each hearing are still to be determined. Legislation is still being assigned to the committee and agendas are subject to change.
