Find one of these,it "reads" your area, and compensates, not fills your area with co2..cuts fans on and off when tank goes on too..must have imo..
View attachment 3325413 The company went under, but I'm happy with mine, there are others out there that hate c.a.p.,but I'm happy :-D
Other company's make the same damn unit, just different look...check around.
And "great-stuff" sealant is your friend btw.
I don't have that controller but i hate all th other ones that equal up to that.. I know i bought each individual one and wasted money, but I could only but a couple products a week. But my fans will go off when my co2 is on and everything my he's has a controller, my ac will in summertime.. Everything is pretty automatd in my room, I wsh I did buy thatcontroller, I love c.a.p.!

I used to use riot cubes in a tray, it worked great, but I made a homemade mister cloner and I have roots in 4 days with the clones solution, foot long roots in ten
Can I copy you? If you don't feel like explaining it I'll look it up and see if I can find something similar. I would love to have roots on Friday... Do you still use the plugs?

lol yeah go ahead, ill have pics of it in a few days. But ita basically a square with one line going through the middle with half in pvc, then I have like 8 misters threaded into the pvc. With a pump sitting in water with clonex liquid solution and a small amount of voodoo juice. Icut my clones on a 45, and put two small slits on each side by where I cut it dunk in it clonex™ root gel and put it in the round pucks in a Rubbermaid tote. And leter rip

That's innovative. Thank you. Is the mist equally dispersed throughout the box? I just build this out of a rubbermaid big enough to house a pump? How strong do I want the pump to be?

mines like a fifteen gallons rubber maid tote, but a five gallon bucket will work if your mister is small enough, and mine covers quite well. Water drops if the clones the whole time. Just makes sure it seals or it will leak, I bought a twenty dollar pump from the grow shops, about 396 gals/hour I'm sure smaller will work fine. The misters are like 60 cents a piece the whole system costed like 25 bucks compare to a similar brand name one for two hundred.

So after I get the pump/misters set up, just drill some root riot sized holes into the top of my rubbermaid or bucket and I'm good? Or should I get different plugs?

the thing I like about the mister is you can go a whole week even longer without adding water... I don't ph for clones or nothing but that's just me, the results are just as quick imo

Yes man it does sound nice. I make sure my ph is in range but I don't mess with it (it's usually 5.65). I hear 5.5-5.7 is where you want it. Clonex rooting gel and clonex solution. I rarely have to refill my rooting tray, even after three weeks. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I read some literature that says if your mother was feeding @ 900 ppm, feed your clones with the same solution. I tried it. In theory I could see why it would work, but three weeks later there were still no roots, and my clones did not look happy. So I ditched them...

you will have better luck with the misters, I think my solution is at about 300 ppm, they don't need much macronutrients at this stage

I just follow the clonex bottle's recommendations. Didn't check ppms. I've only cloned successfully with one batch. My second batch was with the mother's solution (900), and this will be my third.
