new at this. need a lil help

im growing 3 plants
1 ive been growing for a 1.5 week its not showing improvement
because it was under a halogen lamp
i used scotts potting soil 0.07-0.01-0.03
terracycle plant food
there under and 18" 20watt flourescent

i will post some pictures up later

the other 2 i just planted today from seeds

so far am i doing good???
and also what will i need in the future like nutrients?

you are using the wrong lights, they are too hot to get the plant near enuf.
plus at 1 1/2 week old "vegg" you shouldnt be feeding.
you need some proper lights, flo's for vegg and hps, for 12/12 and vegg.

what light sced you on?.
you can get some flos from the hardware store, very cheap, to start you off, till you get a hps.
the hal light your using, is too hot, and the wrong kind of light spec, just by its self.

is there any cheaper kinda light for the flowering stage?

is the soil kool?

You can buy a shitload of CFLs for flowering, thats what i did....

you think 6 floros for 3 plants is good for flowering?

60 Watts is DEF not enough fo flowering....Whack in a couple of 32 watt cfl's and you will be good you can get them for about £5 $10...... Not expensive

So it's a cheap-ass setup, I know, please don't tell me to buy a HID or hps. I don;t have money. every time I post some dick says, "y'know flouros suck! upgrade!" sure, as soon as you send me the money, I'll buy the 'proper' lights.
but I'll tell ya, they are into their 16th day of flowering and doing well. I started out with 20 baggies seeds but 14 went male,1 died for no reason, so I have 5 healthy females left I was worried I'd have inadequate lighting but with only 5 left, I have enough. but you must get a fan on your plants to strengthen stems and use cool white for vegging only. Cfl's are better, but at least up the wattage of your tubedlights. 40w is better and DO NOT BUY A GRO LIGHT or enviro light. these suck, they don't have the right color spectrum for weed.
