Hey, all. I must apologize for re-directing those already subscribed to the old thread, but we have an important rule change.

Since starting this thread, I've had 6 different people ask me to change my rule about all seedlings/clones started before March 1st being inadmissible. You may now enter any plant you've grown, NO MATTER WHEN YOU STARTED IT, so long as it is being grown outdoors, summer 2010.

:leaf:Summer Grow-off 2010!:leaf:

Basically, the contest will be broken down into three categories.
* Sativa dominant(by genetics, not appearance... ... Unless you dont know the genetics... Then we go by appearance.)
*Indica dominant(same stipulations)
*Hi-breds

All pics must be posted ON December 1st-7th. If you've already posted your final pics of your girl by then, you must then re-post them during that week.

Voting will start on December 8th, and will end on December 15th. I will count the votes and winners will be posted on December 16th.

The vote will take place in a separate thread that will be started to collect the votes for each category. There will be one thread for all 3 categories.

All three categories will have the same contests. The contests for each category will be...
*Tallest Plant*
*Most Beautiful Plant*
*Best Calyx-To-Leaf-Ratio(NO CHEATING!)*
*Best yield per one plant*
*Ugliest Plant*

When you submit your plant for consideration, you must specify what your entering it for. You may enter your plant in up to 4 categories.(Only because you cant win ugliest and most beautiful)

Im sure rules and boundaries will be stipulated along the way, but for now, the only stipulation I can think of is that, if your entering your plant into the "Best Calyx-To_leaf-Ratio" category than YOU CAN NOT TRIM! NO CHEATING!

This thread is open to all manner of outdoor posts! It will be used for posting pics of your composting soil, your holes that you've prepared, your plants(if you've already started them)

Growers are invited to post pics of how everything is going, what you plan to grow, how... There is no hijacking the thread, here. All are welcome to post away!

There will be an Overall Best Plant Award.
Best Plant Should...
*Have a good calyx-to-leaf-ratio...
*Look pleasing(opinions count in this competition)
*Have a good, uniform growth.(plants showing true characteristics of infamous genetics will probably win special favor, here.)

All voters will vote on the over-all best plant from all categories, and I will find a prize of some kind, for the winner. The grower with the best plant will receive a mystery prize. Not sure what it'll be.(Maybe a bean or two with some well-known genetics... Maybe some glass... Dunno yet.
It wont be lame. I promise.)

Alot of this competition is going to count on honesty from everyone involved. This is intended as a fun thing for EVERY MEMBER to take part in. Im even investing a little of my own money for a small prize to make it more interesting.

This is all for fun, guys. Let's not be kids and cheat. THOSE members can grow somewhere else...

:fire:
The thread is now open until December 1st! bongsmilie

Brother, if you can grow from now, and harvest in Sept-Dec, than your growing right along with us.

Welcome to the grow-off.

Will this thread be the place to post entries in December?
That's the plan, yes... But look for instructions then.

your putting the power kush outside man?
Haha. Yeah, that's probably gonna' turn out to be an empty threat. That plant absolutely loves that 430 Son Agro of mine... I dont think I have the heart to take her out from under it.

Seriously tho. that's probably not gonna' happen. I'm not even sure if the strain is very productive outdoors.

Got new pics to post in the grow journal. Got to post some pics about my Himalayan Gold issue.
