New Aeroflo2 60 Grow! Started from the ground up! Lots of Pics!!

I was thinking about it... I have all GH nutes.. do you think that they are too small/young or will they be ok?

I would give them a little something. They do need some nutrients to be able to grow at this point. Just start small and work it up a little each day. Abd yeah GH would be perfect.

OK so i added some floramicro and some flora grow.. ppm are about 90.. water temp 71 and pH 6.2.. Lets pray

Nice grow, I will be following you as well. I just cropped my first round on the areoflo60 + extention set up. One question cause there is humidity where I am too. I niticed you wrapped your room in what looked like pastic - was this due to the moisture? To prevent moisture damage from the humidity?

Hey Lion- No that is reflective Panda paper to reflect the light off the walls. It does also help to "seal" that room. What was your dry weight from all 120 plants? what kind of lighting etc?

Just one point to mention, you have the best of gear for growing but u didnt specify what extractor fan your using. The one in the picture looks like a 5" rvk inline fan or similar which will be wholly inadequate for a room of your size, having 4 600 watters will generate quite a lot of heat. Maybe im missing something?

Also i use 1" rockwool cubes for propogation then place these inside 3" net pots with hydroton once the roots emerge. I dont see any reason why you couldnt do the same with the pots from the aeroflo system

*Edit: Just noticed your pics of babies, i never use ant kind of nutes whatsoever for the first 7 days, the cotyledons (round baby leaves) contain all the nutrients the plant needs untis it has developed a good set of proper leaves. I think your yellow problem is nutrient burn

This is not true in fact exactly the opposite, The clones have very little nutrients stored up in them for such a big plant, Whereas the seedlings have exactly what they need for the first couple of weeks inside of the 'baby leaves'

Not trying to put the boot in but these are mistakes that we've all made and the quicker you solve the problems the sooner youll have some quality biffta!!

Thanks cork!! I have the ppm at like 60-70 right now with the water temp at 68 and the pH 6.2.. maybe I will go all the way back down to like 20 ppm for the next week and see what happens!! Thanks for the in-depth response. Also, for ventilation, I have a 750 cfm vortex attached to a 750 cfm phresh filter. For the lights, I have a 450 cfm inline and a booster fan between the 2 and 2 setup.

I would agree with that for the first 7 days like your earlier post.. but the first couple weeks? kinda seems like that would be pushing it. Unless your talking about soil seedlings?

yeah i usually start them on a very diluted mix of plant start after 8-10 days, not having enough nutes will do less harm to seedlings than having too much.
You then increase it gradually every day or so and by 15 days they are ready for 1/3 strength proper nutes. Thats the way i do it anyway others may disagree

No that sounds about how I do it unless one of the seedling looks like sh*t and turns yellow then I will just give it full strength to see if it will take it, it helps them turn green and catch up probably 75% of the time if not I kill it. Thats all in soil though... never started seeds in a ez clone.

I think that I am the first to try the ez clone thing. I have 21 seedlings in the cloner and 39 in a dome in root riot plugs.. Im going over there right now to take some pics for yall!! Ill be back tonight with them! Thanks again for hangin around! You guys are kick ass!

just a little curious...ive heard people mention them before but i dont know what they do...what does the frozen water bottles do for the plants??? BTW beautiful setup im definetly stickin around for this one

hey captain... I use the water bottles to cool the res. I try to keep it at a cool 68 degrees. I couldnt afford the water cooler after all this other stuff.. that will be for the next grow for sure! Thanks for tuning in.. I will have new pics up tonight!

its supposed to keep the res temps colder, but personally i dont think the frozen bottles help..once the water startes to melt in the bottle, the water that is in the bottle loses its chill fast. just my 2cents.

btw dpag, how is that shit working out for ya?

Everythings alright.. I forgot to plug the pump back in a couple times so I had some deaths but everything is going into the af tomorrow for like 4 days of veg before flowering
