New aero setup advice and suggestions.

I have a new aero setup that would like some advice for. I started this grow on may 28th from clone in 5 gal. Buckets using the Lucas formal with some slight modifications. For my nutes I am doing 2-5-10 ( 2ml gro, 5 ml micro and 10 ml bloom) per gallon. I also added 7ml cal mag per gallon. Ph is at 5.8 and staying there. I am also using a 400w MH light that is placed about 6 inches above my tallest plant. I would like advice regarding if I should start roping the plants as well as when I should force the plants into flowering. My tallest plant ( on the left in the pictures) is at 25 inches as of today and the shortest plant is at 17 inches. I would like them to be a good height for the largest yeild. Plants are planted in 6 in. Expanded clay net pots so I would like to keep that in mid as far as support goes.

Unless I missed something, you're running deep water culture (DWC)"-----not aero.

I suggest loose the grow and lower the cal mag to 1-2 ml per gallon. If the strain you're growing looks pale green up the the m/b to 6-12

I assume you mean bend the top over and tie to the main stalk-----good idea to keep the canopy level and spread out----easily done with plants that size. Remember a 400 will only cover a 2ftx2ft area------don't expect much from the lowest branches----better to trip off but try and keep the fan leaves. general Rule of thumb is the plants double in size from the start of 12/12.

You'll have better results if you flower with hps.

Sorry I didn't mean to say roping I ment to say topping. And yeah I plan to switch to HPs when info to 12/12. My main concern tho is when should I go to the 12/12?
thanks for the advice and yeah I am doing dwc sorry for that I'm pretty new at this.

I would top before they got that tall. with only two plants I would start 12/12 between 3' and 4' tall-----but thats only my preference.
