These 2 Chemdawg are on day 71 and I was going to give them a few more days because the trichs are 85% milky 10% amber and 5% clear. I have already leeched about a week ago and gave one additional regular flush. They should be getting watered today but I am not sure if I should chop today because of what the plant is doing. It is definitely showing signs of heat stress because it has been hot last week (88-90 degrees) and a few of the leaves started canoeing and getting crispy. Then all of a sudden the temps have been really cold outside for a few days keeping the night temps low and lights on have been at a nice 82 and now the leaves look like they are turning black. I have very good air circulation in the closet so I do not think it could be mold. I have a 192cfm fan attached to a 4" carbon filter sucking air out plus a 10" fan inside blowing air around so there is very little dead air. I am not sure what is going on, could it be dark purple due to the low night temps? Are they over cooked from the initial heat? Could it be mold? Check them out and let me know if you think they should be chopped today or can a wait a few days?.

i would take it down, unless you watered id leave it to have a little drink first and dry out.

I think you could wait. I'm not familiar with any Purple mold or fungus, so I'd think it was the cooler temps.
Best wait for more replies to get a consensus.

I've had this before on my satori strain when I grew that. It definitely seems strain dependent, and I never figured out what it was.

I think it's some common deficiency that just looks different than usual because of the strain. The purple pigments make it easier to see things like nitrogen deficiency.

Are you feeding too much P?

If you suspect mold, pull the denser part of the buds apart and check. Is there webbing between the thickest part of the colas?

I'm hoping for more insight, thanks for the replies.

yah man chop that little slut before lights come on, and get some of her in ur lungs ffs it good fer ya
I've been sampling the little popcorn buds from the bottom of the plant. Kinda harsh and leafy tasting but I got high so thats all I care about. I didn't even bother drying them i just pick and smoke. Takes forever to get them to light but it's good.

I'd have pulled her a week ago - but then I like to get high, not stoned. She is ready though. Leave her much longer and she will be deteriorating in strength by cure time imo.

Very pretty girl. Well worth the share. I had some super critical autos go similar colours through over application of bat guano :-)

Could be cold induced, or a phosphorus deficiency.

Either way there's nothing you can do about it, so I'd chop as planned.
