Neuropathic Pain

Has anybody used topical cannabis for neuropathic pain? I take neurontin, amitriptyline, oxycodone and I smoke cannabis plus wax and use edibles but the pain is very difficult to reduce by greater than 50% Is topical thc useful? Smoking and eating cannabis help incrementally so I think maybe using it in a skin penetrating cream would help since a lot of the discomfort is not deep tissue pain, it seems to be on the surface. I'll make my own with concentrate. Does anyone have suggestions for percentage thc by weight too use in home made cream? If say a square foot of skin was painful would 10mg help? 100 mg? What kind of over the counter cream would be suitable to mix with and is thca active topically? Do I have decarb the wax first?

I suffer from neuropathic pain and primarily vaporize and use edibles. I don't believe you need a significant amount of THC topically... I think the containers they sell may have 100mg total. It is my understanding that THC-A (what's found in raw cannabis) is too large to trigger receptors so it would still have to be decarbed. I know a double-amputee that makes his own cream from reclaim. Since it's already been vaporized, it's already decarbed... If you use an ash catcher on an oil rig reclaiming the reclaim is very simple! Best of luck!
