Let it go, fighting over a stolen plant isent worth time in jail, or all the court costs and shit
i would slit some tires though :bigjoint:

this is what i would say. Knock knock- Hey how its going mr ass fock, or what ever his name is, are you familiar with how security cameras work? ( This is your first loaded question) then say- My camera picked up something strange the other day. In broad daylight someone came over and took a tomato plant that was my dads. ( Give him the story you posted) the key here is to make him think you got em on tape, but if i was the guy i focking know your not going to do anything about it. *** Very important*** Do you want to come over and see the guy I taped just to see if you know him? **** if he did it and he believes you actually got him on tape hes not coming over****At some point in time if your absolutely sure hes got it then ask if you can come in for a minute. at that point i would tell him to level with me and give it back and you will share a little. If your still standing outside in the cold and he doesn't let you in then I think this is another clue as to who got it. If your not 100% sure a which you should be by now and he put up an really good dummy knows nothing act and doesn't want to see the video, I would Then I would say- nothings safe anymore what do you think I should do about this? My friends are coming over right now. I told them about it and they are really mad we are going to kick the shit out this guy! Are you going to be around in few? and roll out. One of two things
A. you get you precious back no problem man just don't let it happen again type deal.
B. Your focked, hes got your shit he knows you grow and will be looking for mistakes again.
Maybe there is a C. He's a hard core ex cop that took your shit he hates pot and is using it for evidence( we dont want C. )

Thanks for all the advice and good wishes. This is what I did. I wrote a letter and put it on his back door. No sigs or prints, nothing to really trace but here's what it said:
I just wanted to let you know that what you took out of my backyard was for medicinal purposes. You see, my Dad recently passed away from liver cancer and could not metabolize traditional pain medications. He spent months suffering before he died but he always looked forward to smoking a little herb as it was the only thing that helped him eat and stay optimistic. The plant that was taken was his last plant and was being brought to harvest to share with his friends and family at his upcoming memorial service. Many people were looking forward to sharing in this last memory of him- with him. You see, he put himself into everything he did and this was the last little bit of him that we had left.

Please know that there are no hard feelings as I understand the nature of the game but also know that you have taken something more than just a plant, you have taken away memories that will now never be made. Enjoy the smoke!

There was also a peace sign at the bottom of the note that said "Happy Holidays".

My neighbor came over the next day. As it turns out, he was pissed by what happened. As he tells it, he had "company" over for the holidays and one of his Grandson's friends took the plant. He says he did not know anything about it and if he did he would have kicked the kid's ass himself. He is not a smoker but doesn't have a problem with it as he partied plenty in his day. He seemed very genuine and put off by the fact that one of his guests was on my property. He assured me I have nothing to worry about in the future. The kid got rid of the plant that same day. Apparently his older brother helped him with that. No luck getting it back.

Anyhow, at least I know what happened and got some peace of mind. The old man next door turned out to be pretty cool. He's a Vet and I'm sure we will get to know each other a little better now. Funny, he actually kind of reminds me of my Pops. Crazy, maybe things really do happen for a reason.

You handled this absolutly brilliant. You removed a block, and earned a trust. Don't throw it in his face, but let it be known that those boys can't be trusted, they owe you, and they tresspassed. Have Grand-dad be on your side with the shitlist.

Good thing Chitown wasn't in your position or we would have a perfectly innocent hospitalized or dead old man who is probably a thousand times more of a man than he'll ever be. Maybe some day he'll realize how juvenile and worthless his 'gangster' implications make him. And to think that people like him actually wonder why they 'got it so bad' and why so many of them end up dead. Idiots.

You handled your shit right man. Way to go :)

You handled yourself like a TRUE man and with class to boot. You should be proud of yourself and I would bet anything that your dad is proud of you too. I live in the backwoods south too and personally know smokers who would've rolled up and shot the guy in the face, no questions asked (my self not included.). Take comfort in the fact that you are a real man. We need more people like you in the world, bro.

Much Love.

LMAO... YEA.. IT WAS STUPID ON YOUR PART... but i agree... get fucking even.... i heard punches... claymores... it all sounds great... fuck use it all... but deffinately get even!!!
