needing 2buy a filter anonymously

Main question: Can I anonymously buy a carbon filter from HD Lowes or Walmart and pick it up in store? are brand names like Phresh Viagrow etc noteworthy over other brands?
Mine has been scrubbing for ~9 months. Still works great but not as powerful as new. I bought my viagrow carbon filter off amazon for ~60 bucks, but i can't have it shipped under the radar now. The hydro store has some for 110+ each...

Do you not have a hydro store around you? HD or Lowes might have sheets of it that you can cut and wrap around your scrubber, but if you have a grow store start there.

cant you just replace the carbon on the inside? like order a sheet of activated carbon? its a science product and not a filter product in some cases.

If you are looking to replace the entire scrubber system I would still check out a hydro store if you can. I don't think you can anonymously order something for pick-up without giving at the very least your name/credit card info. They always ask me or ID when I do a store pick-up.

if its just paranoia leading to not buying a scrubber online then id say ignore that thought and buy one. its not illegal and nobodies watching for whose buying filters. the stupid tent i ordered that had GROW TENT written 24 inches across the side of the box on both sides and weighed 45 lbs...... i was like... woah dumb fucking company..... and then proceeded to set it up and have been using it since...... soooo idk...

if its a work related thing or age related thing then idk what to say

Yeah my Hydro store runs around 110 each and are flangeless the one off amazon was 60 with flange, not scared of the Internet I'm not in the position to accept packages without interception. I was figuring who the fuck cares and put it on my credit card and i don't figure home depot would be wasting their lives collecting license info and linking carbon filter buyeres as a marked threat to local police lol

In my experience ordering at the store with cash needed only receipt verification upon pickup and online orders with a credit card needed a print of an email verification and id.

In the early '80's I was in a California head shop picking up a couple pounds of mannitol and the owner had a NORML petition on the counter. I couldn't believe people were giving up their names and phone numbers for illegal activities in a public forum yet. Maybe 50 years in the biz has made me cynical or paranoid, but NEVER use any personalized form of payment if it can be helped. Even at WalMart I use cash for all my gardening supplies. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't looking at me. Keep it all on the down low, eh?

100% completely agree with you, even once legalization it still wont be 'safe', that's awesome fjbudboy, I'll go to the customer service desk tomorrow with cash and 'no id' unless its absolutely necessary then i guess a school id will do- need to figure out how to change the name on it

Walmart & home depot accept gift cards online, i wonder though, changed 2 letters in my name, alternative email, but what about phone #? They'll call when it's ready, figure i should give a fake # and just call them to see when it arrives?
