Need Vehicle Advice

I currently own a 1990 camry deluxe. Has 220,000 miles on it. Seems like a dependable solid car, i have driven it for 10,000+ miles. Ive never been a fan of ford just from what ive heard, not from experience. A lady wants to trade me her 2dr 2wheel drive 1994 ford explorer. It has 86,000 miles. If youve ever owned an explorer let me know what you thought about it and any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Too late cars were already invented. You must have a car to get a job. If only it was that easy.

Meff not junk, comon... Are you going to be exploring in the woods.. Otherwise the Camry is the s after choose I just had a trade come into the lot with 346 k on it dude said it ran like a champ...we junked it. Either way mpg wise the Camry is a better choice unless you want to go off roads in which case the explorer is an awesome truck

The '94 Ford Explorer was the one that gave them the nickname "Exploder". Also, I believe that was the year with all of the fatalities from exploding tires caused by a poorly designed front suspension. Tell her to throw in $2k and it's a deal!

To tell u from experience i junked a 94 exploder for the very reason of the tranny. I had it for a few years and kept all matience up to date. Oil change, tires etc. About 3 weeks ago i was driving and the tranny litterally droped on the street. My advice is dont do it

is this a fucking joke bro? nothing seems to strike you as odd? she wants to trade you a vehicle 4 years newer, with 140,000 less miles... damn i have never heard of a woman scamming a dude in a vehicle trade (assuming you're a male for some reason). dont trade, there are so many red flags its retarded. something is wrong with the ford, i am willing to bet my mother on it.

and im going to have to call bullshit on this guy. no way did all the trans mounts break, the bell housing snapped, as did the drive shaft... maybe the trans failed, but im calling bullshit on it being fine and up to date with maintenance and out of nowhere the trans literally ending up on the street... unless you where wheeling, beating the piss out of it, cased out, and snapped everything.

Yes im a male. I just turned 19 and have very little vehicle knowledge thats why i ask. I did my own research and i saw alot of tranny issues thats why i was skeptical and sought a second opinion rather then my own but you guys confirmed what i already thought

Why would you even doubt a flagship Toyota model? Toyota has consistently made reliable vehicles since their beginning. They are also the most wealthy of all of the auto makers in the world. How do you think they achieved such wealth?

It's remarkable that an Accord can reach a million miles. Don't ditch the Toyota for the Ford.
