So I'm super new at this forum stuff , this is my first post . But I have 2 auto fem blueberry 420 under 400 w MH one is doing great it's only 3 weeks to the day and has very long white hairs ... The other is short and growing slowly? Idk why but I also have a 12 week afghan broadleaf female preflowering. I know the AF is ready for HPS and 12 /12 but is it ok to do that with my blueberry ... I'm growing in a single room btw so I can't separate the plants ... The ultimate question is if I initiate flowering in the AF with 12 12 and HPS with the 3 week blueberry autofem with the half inch white hairs would that be okay

thats what I did first... But I'm more concerned about the other blueberry and AF. Is it ok to do HPS and 1212 by the lookof them
Using 12 12 with an auto is only going to reduce your yield. Most strains need at least 18 hours of light for best results

I'm just gonna give it a shot and do 12 12 other threads say that 12 12 for autos actually works better in some cases ... But the AF NEEDS 12 12 and HPS

Stay on a veg cycle ( 18/6, 20/4) until the AF has about a week to go before it finishes then switch to 12/12 and start flowering the Reg plant, not a big deal..you get 2 harvests and the photo period plant will get bigger and yield more. 12/12 for the last week on an auto won't compromise much. Which breeder is the Auto blueberry from? It's been around awhile, I would think it's stabilized and shouldn't need 12/12 to initiate flower..and if it did..I'd never buy from that breeder again.

I would keep it on at least 18 hours. The af I would crop it and try to take cuttings from it. Once the auto is done. You can go to 12/12 plus you will have hella clones. You can get rooting gel from Walmart no lie. This would be your best bet.

And the size of your autos mean your watering too much..even your 12 week af is small. Even if it's root bound that is pretty small. You want to water maybe once or twice a week. But you want your pots you be very light. They more you allow the pot to dry out the stronger and longer your roots will become which equals a bigger faster plant...

But please think about making clones rather then f up your autos. That blueberry will be great

finally people that care thank you... So I'll take the advice I'll leave the autos on 18/6 ... But the AF is already Preflowering .. It's got nice white hairs coming from the nodes but it's been in preflowering for two weeks now ... Is it ok to just keep it in preflower until the auto Is about a week from being done then switch to 12 12 ... And shiyld I start slowly adding bloom nutes to the auto

The breeder is Amsterdam seeds but the AF is growing in the same room that the autos are in and the AF is already in preflowering ...so is my best bet to keep the AF in preflowering and keep all the plants in 18/6 MH until the auto catches up and start 12 12 HPS a week before autos are done and harvest the autos and then leave the AF until it's ready

When I mentioned "AF' i meant autoflower..i didn't think about your afgan..Preflowers only mean it's mature enough to flower..you can keep a non auto flower in veg almost indefinitely. Yeah I'd suggest staying on 18/6 until there is about a week left on the auto flowers then flip to 12/12, let the auto's finish under 12/12 while the afgan starts flowering.

That things going to get BIG!..I'd start tying it down or chop the top..it's gonna double or more in size when it flowers...especially if you keep it on veg for a few more weeks. Look into SCROG, you could fill that whole closet with that one plant...

IDK about your nutes, i don't add nutes in soil, i mix water only soil.

Don't get me wrong I have never cloned before. But have never been in a position to do it also. With my set up now I've only ran autos. But from what I've picked up its pretty simple. Cut the clone trim it .either use gel or just drop it cover it and watch it grow. For your case I feel it would be a great time to learn something that will save you thousands down the line. What a clone cost from the shop? $10-15? Then you get home and it's sick and die or you grow it out and it was suppose to be this elite silver have and you got a back yard special.

It's up to you. But 2 things you trim and get clones( they live or die). And you cut the plant down to keep it a decent size for another 8 weeks. You can't lose....

Last thing just cuz it says well know member doesn't mean we know it all just post a lot. Stay on here and you will learn and see a lot...good luck

What should I do then to keep it smaller... It's gonna be at least another 2-3 weeks before my autos are gonna go to 12 12

I was thinking about using the tiedown method to try to get the plant to grow horizontally instead of vertically...but first of all I don't even know how to do it and second of all I don't want to hurt my plant or put her in shock....A much bushier plant would be ideal any suggestions

you could just pinch the stem on the main till it lays over and then tie it down to a hole you punch in the top edge of the pot and then do the same for the branches that are there minus the pinching unless they dont want to pull down easy ..... then pinch them low on the stem and tie them down

google " supercropping "
