put the seeds on a dry paper towel on top of a plate and let them dry out. then like 2 weeks later you can germinate them the same way you dried them, maybe in a fresh paper towel

tomatoes

scrape out your seeds and use flesh. place washed seeds into a glass jar, fill jar with a little water enough to cover seeds twice over. now leave this mix on windowsill to ferment, after a couple weeks you should notice a foamy scum, strain out seeds from this fermentation juice and dry off, store in a dry dark place or plant up around boxing day onwards for early starters for cold house at end of winter.

I just remove them from the plant, let them dry,and keep them in a dark place untill you are ready to plant.that always works for me.As long as they are kept dry,and in the dark, they should be good for a couple years.
