My woman is starting to give me shit for my grow. First one was a CFL joke that produced smoke...but was not as good as we can get here in the Pacific NW. This one is a 400w MH/HPS grow and going big.

I keep trying to tell her that I am growing good bud...but she wants some smokeable results.

Is it possible to cut the small bud off the plant and do a quick cure tonight to show her what we got? I am assuming that you remove as much stem and leaves as possible, but how do I do a good quick cure??

IMO if you smoke a bud now it wont do shit but give you a headache, that plant looks like its just starting to flower no trichs or nothing and if there is trichs probably wont even get you high

Curing is a process used to make a smoother, more flavorful smoke and takes some time to do properly. What you want is a way to dry them quickly, not cure them quickly. Small buds can be quick-dried in the microwave and smoked a matter of minutes later. This is one of the best ways to test the ripeness of your plants.

You can also try in the oven. Most ovens only operate at 200 degrees or higher. The problem with that is, THC evaporates at 200 degrees. You can stick 'em in the oven at 200 degrees with the door cracked. They should be dry enough to smoke in 5-7 minutes. They will taste bad, cause the fertilizers and chlorophyl will be trapped in the buds. You'll have 'green' taste and it will probably smell like lawn clippings. Heating the buds to 165-ish degrees should activate the non-psychoactive THC (won't be that potent though).

Fuck it. Did some shots of Tequila and going to give her the business in a bit. That should shut her up for a bit. PMS maybe? I got 3-4 weeks left and she pulls this now?

Living 120 miles from B.C. we got some pretty good weed around here, so I will just smoke here out after fuckin' and she will forget all about it.

Not that is good practice, but in a pinch I have used our food dehydrator to dry a full tray worth or more, in like 1.5 hours or less depending on the buds, and they were very smokable, But it's different I'm organic hydro, ?
Dunno but it was pretty good, but not reccomended. Best bet let it go full term, then dry and cure properly, and it will be soo much better.

I don't wanna be a stick in the mud, but you're honestly advocating putting bud in the microwave? Wouldn't that melt the triches?
