Eb gen 2 , 3500k, 175lm/w at 350m , 7 watts.1ft strips. 2.80$.
How about four per sq ft? 36 strips. 100$. At Digikey.
Thats like two hundred diodes per sq ft.

They also have 2ft ones in stock, mix 2 ft and 1 ft?

Something is getting missing in your description... could you put it as 3S10P or whatever? i.e. 3 in series, with 10 parallel groups of those.... Cause I'm only getting to 180W if I try and follow what you said.
Use a hlg-320h-c1400a driver. groups of 3 paralleled to split the 1.4A between the 3, then in series with the driver gives you 466mA per strip. 21.6vdc times 30 strips. Gives you 301.96w

That runs them super soft. Spread out over 30 strips. Absolutely would smash a 3x3. That's pulls 216v of the 229vdc available. So gives you a little lead way if you wanna add some monos or whatever. Laid out over 30" x 30" frame like below.

Edit: actually at 466mA you're gonna draw like 19.50-19.80vdc so roughly 275w at that current. That's still 30w per sqft. Plenty....

guess it can work, still kinda pricey, but seems like the best fit with my other stuff.

New german strip released this week... 50cm .nice for 1 square meter tent ..and with red osram square added
https://www.led-tech.de/en/50cm-MIXED-alu-stripe-with-60x-Samsung-LM301B-3500K-5x-Osram-OSLON-Square-hyper-red-LEDs
Reminds me of the Invisible Sun strips.
I'll see your led tech and raise you the sun strips..... lol

8 - 10 euros extra for 48 more white diodes plus660nm and some far red extra too

I haven't looked at which is more efficient tho.

O$ram, if top bin? Expensive
By the time I pay that plus shipping to the states which is high. They are definitely not worth the price. I'd get photoboost strips before those. Or just make my own. You can get lm301b and osrams monos and save a ton. Dont get me wrong. Nice strips. But as far money wise for about the same product. It would be a hard pass for me. Now I do have a bunch of their copper 25 diode Samsung squares I'm gonna use at some point. They sent me 50 of them to build a pre-production light. And if I end up using them. They will supply them. I have a few plans in works. I have both an arrow and digikey commerical account now. Along with my mouser account for drivers too. I may just start a little something up.

osram has continually had the lowest led attenuation in the industry on their top bin monos.......they make first-class shit, and act like it too, hence the price and distribution picks.

Led tech in Germany is a great option for the diyers in Europe, I agree with shipping to US might not be the best option. Better avenues to take.

I wish you best in your business venture, you're a good dude.

There is no way I'm sticking 400W of COBs in a tent. Its a massive fire risk. Thanks for the suggestion though, It may be great for some other setups
