Need some tips/advice

Here's a couple pictures of the plants- the ceiling is an issue obviously and they've suffered heat stress, but nothing I can do now. (new wall mount fan seems to be helping a ton) I want to know....

1. If these look somewhat normal
2. what strain they could possibly be (rough guess, if possible)
3. how much longer it could take- I'm not seeing any amber colors on trichomes and they appear clear- so I'm getting worried since I'm sure its been a month in flowering.

ffof soil, 400watt 12/12. temps started getting 93 degrees, w/ ceiling fan its been about 79-86. Humidity is about 50-60%. Watering every 2-3 days. Using tiger bloom every other watering.

Using bag seed so no idea what could be and as result do not know how long flowering period supposed to last. There was other high quality seeds supposed to grow but these seeds would not sprout (using both paper towel and soaking in water methods), in addition 1 of the ones that did sprout was a blueberry kush which ended up being deformed.. Some of the leaves had 8 leaves, unless this is normal. This bag seed, on other hand, had 95% success rate and everything looked healthy at first (until heat and possibly poor air circulation started being an issue)

If it's bag seed, no telling what it is. It's probably gonna be some indica/sativa hybrid, making it even harder to tell what it could be. If I were to take a guess I would say Super Lemon Haze because it's awesome and it's my plant so I can call it whatever I want. But get them temps down! 70-75 degrees and 40% humidity. To get humidity down around 10% go to walmart and buy a damprid hanging desiccant. For $9 it beats buying a dehumidifier. As for the time, I'll give it another 5 weeks before amber trichs start to appear. I would LST them cause they look really tall and skinny. That could also be due to a lack of light. 400W for how many plants?

It's hard to properly asses your pics in that lighting. Part of a diagnosis or analysis has to do with the color of the leaves and being able to see blemishes, spots or other discolorations.
You definitely have a while to go I would say. There is no way to really guess your strain, but given the tall leggy look and relatively skinny blades on the leaves, it's probably a sativa dominant of some sort. I would say LST would have been good, but I wouldn't mess with them much now, especially if this is your first grow.
Usually a 400 watt HPS is good for a few plants, but that also depends on their stretch, how you train them (scrog, LST etc.) how long they are vegged, basically how much space of the light footprint each plant will occupy.
That is up to you and the growing method you choose to employ. Plants that large... maybe two-three.
As far as the heat goes, if the temperature in the grow room is high, how high is the temperature under your lights, near the plants? If you can feel toasty in there, I guarantee it's hotter than that, a foot below your plants.
There is a lot of environmental factors needed to do an accurate assessment of your grow.
Any responses you get will be vague at best given the information provided.
Good luck and if you give a little more detail, and a few better pics, you'll get a few more takers.

Ok, I'm going to post a few more pics. Thanks for advice on damprid, I just picked some up. The temperature will be fine now, the wall fan I just purchased has considerably reduced the temp and is providing much needed airflow and keeping the HPS heat to a minimum. I wonder if the plants will get over the heat stress- or is that damage permanent? They are over 7 ft tall, I'd say 7 1/2 or 8 ft maybe- I kept them too long in veg. (2 months I think)

damn those r sum tall girls lol leaf damage will probably not really heal but keeping the temps and humidity at a comfortable and constant place will help them get better. I've had some haze plants in the past where the leaves had curled a bit on the tops like yours is doing but no where near as much. Your plants growth looks similar to a haze, long branches with little frosty buds scattered on them and fluffy top buds. Only down side to haze is they're sativa dominant which means flower period is 10-14 weeks. You really need to keep up with ur veg and flower schedule! Learn from your mistakes and hope your babies start feelin better :weed:
