hello there,, well out of the bag and into the jars,my weed was crispy, airy, and fluffy, so i put them into jars last night at 12am, when i checked on them at 12pmthe next day there was no moisture in the jar, and they still kinda felt the same, did i open the jar to eairly, or is my weed maybe to dry, or should i leave the jars closed for a longer period of time and then ckeck on them...any advise please, will give rep for any good advise:bigjoint:toke on

if they are too dry, putting them into a jar won't bring any moisture back t tem.. you can always add a small slice of an orange or some other fresh fruit to the jar.. a very small piece.. and leave it in there for a couple of hours and the moisture from the fruit will go to the buds.. don't leave the fruit in the jar for much more than a couple of hours or it can and will cause mold.. keep a close eye on it, and if it starts to feel moister, than you can take out the fruit slice.. you really only want to do this to bud that is really dry and crumbly, and like i said, don't leave it in the jar too long, or you will have more problems other than dry weed, lol
i am not sure how dry your weed was originally, but i hope this info helps out some.. apples also work well...

will the buds get less crunchy the longer they are in the jars, as they absorb the rest of the moisture left in the jars

the outside of the bud feels crunchy but spungy at the sametime like there is very little moisture in it so you think it will be ok, does that sound like it feels right

yes, dry crumbly buds will take on the moisture that is in a jar, and will get less crumbly with age, but only soo much if you no what i mean... they will definitely be a lot better than they were before, but they will never be as good as fresh buds that were never allowed to dry out as when they dry, this has an adverse affect on the thc and the buds will loose some of their potency... but they will definitely be better with a lilttle time in a jar with some fruit to moisten them up a little..

what moisture in the jar? unless you add something to the buds it will not have more moisture than what you put in. curing really only redistributes the moisture completely throughout the entire bud so the center isnt too wet and the oustide isnt all crunchy.
now if you want some more info here is a bit about how to flavor cure your buds
i hate to link to other forums especially when i just read this verbatum on here, but i cant find it now
