Need some help, new grower

Im in the 5th week of flowering its 13 weeks old, the leaves have turned yellow and look like they're dying while the buds themselves look fine. I thought it was a Nitrogen deficiency so i started adding fertilizer with nitrogen to counter it, I cant really tell if its working or not. Im growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest and using Fox farm nuts following the feeding schedule that came with it at half strength. I also have a 400w HPS conversion lamp, the temps were high in the past. but i keep it now between 80-85, its harder to cool it off more, the current way i have it set up. Also the plant seems to be small for its age. Perhaps this is from malnutrition, as it i didnt start fertilizing until i started flowering, i didnt have enough money for the fertilizer, plus this is a test plant. i plan on growing from better seeds. So, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

From what I have heard, the leaves will yellow late in flowering due to N deficiency but this is apparently OK. I would and will freak out when my leaves turn yellow too- I'm only 3 weeks into flower now. When you switch to a Bloom Nute the N % is way lower.
So, looking at your pics though they are yellow and also dry and shriveled- I am not sure if they are spose to shrivel like that, but I am no expert.
The yellow is normal but not sure about the leaves being shrunken.
Hopefully someone else can jump in and help.
Good Luck!

those look bad :( like its starving or burnt up. I think you needed help sooner.. might not be much to do for that thing now.

As your plant progresses through the budding phase, it will start to take energy from the older fan leaves causing them to turn yellow, then brown, then fall off. Do not clip or pull these leaves off, let them fall off by themselves or with very gentle downward pressure on the leaf stem where it interescts the main stem. Your plant needs all the energy from those leaves to help produce the buds, so don't take them away from her early.

Also, don't give your plant Nitrogen to try and correct the yellow leaves! The yellowing is normal at this point and the plant doesn't like a lot of N during the budding phase. That probably contributed to why your plant looks so bad now.

your hairs are looking quite brown too, you might have an over watering/ nutrient issue. Not sure, but she looks a lot like my buddies plants that had the same problem. We ended up watering with just water the the remainder of the period and came out with some moderate quality buds. Some of it was definitely destined for butter or hash though as the buds were not fully mature, which is kinda what yours seem like, there is not a lot of mass there on the top.

be careful with the foxfarm nutrients. You can def burn your plants with the Tiger bloom and the Big grow. especially the tiger bloom. that is what happened to the above ladies. Less is more
