Need some feedback on Horticulture Lighting using Samsung L2

Heya People,
Some friends of mine are building 48" strip lights using The Samsung L2 Chipboard
which is kinda pricey but so far pretty good. at 2.7ish efficacy and
the spectrum looks great too.

I am interested in learning what actual growers ideas are for multi-strip light rack layouts.

I am currently building custom lighting setups for vertical grow clone to preteen nursery facilities with a very simply designed fixture for
single strip rows on multi-level racks.

One of my friends suggested that I reach out to the masses for layout ideas for indoor
lighting arrays.

Layout configuration and photosynthetic light levels is the question and so
Do we duplicate what everyone else is doing base on what is out there or
Do I use a better LED solution and ask the people doing the growing for ideas and try
to provide them with what they actually need.

Well, I believe that we should be innovative and try to do better for the industry and we should simply follow the advice and ask for some input from you..

I did some investigating at MJbiz 2019 and it seems that most of the companies that I talked to had "The Best of ????" and they knew everything but, not many were actual growers LOL

With GxVxda and the like already topping the market and with the Gxvxda Replicas LOL out there (As seen from MJ biz show in Las Vegas)
insistent on using an older LED sets costing certain companies that I know a whole lot of money in R and D to redo their product/s. (Yikes)
Don't wanna make that mistake right out the gate.

and on that note.
So, I grew up in the 70's in a home pot farm environment, If you could image. And my father was a hippie biker. LOL
Not saying that I was growing myself but I at least had lots of exposure to the "lifestyle" and certain methods and info etc....
Anyway enough about me..

I have to say "WOW" a lot has changed since then..

Our collective background is 30yrs + in the LED lighting industry but for humans not plants.

The goal:
Our goal is to build an awesome light and sincerely pay-it-forward to the world by raising enough surplus of money beyond operating costs so that we can build solar vertical grow containers for food growing to donate to "for real missionary groups". Imagine a village in Africa being able to grow seedlings and clones of different plants to plant continuously year round. even build solarized containers to make fish food for fish farming from locally sourced ingredients to feed the fish to feed the people. (I did one of these in Haiti last year). Solarized Containers for processing corn into corn meal right in the village. (I built one of these too). This is where the idea of starting our organization came from.

All feedback is appreciated.

Anyway,
Happy Farming All

PM me for more details on the future of the organization.

Thats very nice!
Im looking to replace the strips in my SunCloak Horizon strip lights.
They currently run at 10-12w each, slid into small aluminum extrusions.
Once i get one out to get the dimensions, do you think you may be able to provide the strips that will fit? Access to sizes?
These are them .
Very surprised other companies have not made these to replace T-5's yet.
100w of these replaces 480w T-5. And makes for killer side lighting.
Thanks!20200125_095111.jpg
