need some advice

i'm pretty new to vaping, wanted a method of medicating that i could do out in public without the odor getting me put in jail.
asked a couple of friends for advice on a rig to start out with, didn't want to invest a lot if it turned out i hated it.
i ended up getting one of these, and so far i like it

my problem is with the juice i'm making. i was making dry ice hash, taking some of the kief before pressing it, and trying to dissolve it in vegetable glycerin. the end product tasted good, but didn't have much potency, because the kief wouldn't dissolve in the vg very well. so i started reading, found out about peg-400, got some of that, and also some propylene glycol. the product was slightly more potent, but i didn't care for the taste of the peg.
this round i made some qwiso hash, dissolved 7 grams of that in 20 ml of pg, then mixed that into 60ml of vg, then filtered it through unbleached coffee filters. its pretty, tastes good, but still isn't very potent. i can kind of maintain a buzz with it, but i'd drain the tank trying to establish one.
does a sub-ohm tank get hot enough? do i need to be decarbing my material before i do my qwiso extraction? i'm hoping i'm making some mistake that will be pointed out to me.

Check out "wax liquidizer" on Amazon. Unless your making a lot a once with the methods you're using, this stuff is quick and easy. Tastes good too.

I am having the same problem (for like the last couple years). did exactly what you did, with the PEG, tasted like smoking plastic. Effing awful. I ended up where your are now with only with about 70/30 split on the VG/PG. I heated my QWISO with the glycerin to get max dissolving and then let it cool (excess oil precipitates out). I then pour off and do it again until nothing precipitates out when cooled. PG/VG although technically a solvent , just are not very good ones. I haven't tried this yet but thought maybe a very small amount of pure ethanol would help , but have no idea how the vaporizer would handle it.

I put the dry ice bubble hash in vg in a jar and forment it in a cool dark place ( takes 3mths, shaking it occassionally). Kinda just stumbled upon formenting..works great
