Need some advice please! Use whole room or buy a grow tent?

The room i have to work with is 10ftLx8ftWx7ftT. The set up will 1 1000 watt MH for veg and 1 1000 watt HPS for flower. I will have 9 plants in 9 7 gallon pots. My question is should i use the whole room or should i buy a tent? I feel like the room would be too big for just 9 plants under 1 1000 watt light. Any help or advice would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

IF your going soil i would def buy a nice Gorilla tent.. DO NOT buy any others they will not come anywhere near the quality.. But at least the tent you can control the environment and not worry as much about pests

You can have several distinct areas, 1 veg area a germ area and the largest the bud area, which could be a larger tent

Yes i will be using soil. I was thinking using the whole room would be too big for what i want to do.

That is a good idea but i only need to veg and flower. I have a good clone supplier. Would the room be too big for what i want to do?
