Hi, I'm doing my 2nd grow, 4 plants, strains from Dutch Passion:
Durban Poison, Strawberry Cough, Ortega Indica and Masterkush.
Will put in flowering in 2-3 weeks under 250w hps.
Using Plagron soil and Plagron organic nutrients
Got some Sunleaves Indonesian batguano, NPK 0.5 12 0.2.
Been looking in the forum, but can't find a precise answer, so,
could someone please help me how to use the guano.
Planning to make tea and use from week 4 in flower, but don't know the correct amounts.
Should i mix the tea with half strength of the regular nutrients?
Mix with veg nutrients because of the NPK values?
Feed once a week?
Thanks
:peace:

you bought the guanna for flowering nutes, so why would you mix it with veg nutes? veg nute has too much nitrogen for flowering.

If you're after nutrient supplementation, use it as a top or side dressing (mix it in the top soil area, water and then return to normal watering pattern). That way your soil will provide nutrient uptake as the plants require it.

Making an AACT tea will supplement your microbe colony (also an excellent foliar spray) but provide limited nutrient value. Let the living soil do what it does best.

For your next grow, consider putting all the components plants require for vegetation and flowering cycles in your grow medium and reduce your supplementation to a couple of AACT teas during vegetation and flowering to increase your grow medium microherd.

Thanks for the info Scarletfire.

madodah, thank you, I will consider that next time.

Ok, so should i mix with my regular flowering nutes? Half strength?
Anyone got a good flowering recipe for the following ingredients:

Sunleaves Indonesian Batguano 0.5 12 0.2
Plagron AlgaBloom 1.5 13 14
Plagron GreenSensation
Water

Please, more input!

I mix 1 TBSP Bat Guano and I TBSP molasses to a gallon of water. Then I add 1/2 strength Cal-mag and 1/2 strength Thrive-Alice B1. I do this every watering. I add BC Boost and BC Grow when they look like they need it. Each plant is different and they're all on their own watering schedule. What a pain - I couldn't discipline my kids either. I dropped the Awesome Blossoms and Sugar Candy after the first week. Next time pure organix. I think this is something you have to just experiment with and watch closely how they respond. Some varieties are better at telling you what's wrong than others. I'm just trying to push them as far as I can without hurting them. So far into week 6 besides the Guano and molasses I never give them more than 1/2 strength of the recommended doses. For the last 2-3 weeks I'll see if they can a handle a little more.

It's teatime! Week 4 now, and the tea is bubbling.
I mixed 1 tblspoon guano 0.5 12 0.2 and 1 tblspoon molasses per gallon.
Also added HALF strength Plagron Alga Grow 4 6 8 (since the guano has almost no N, I compensated with grow nutes, they still need some N right?)
What about ph? Can i use ph acids, or will it destroy the bacteria? Organic lemonjuice?
Please tell me what you think.
