Need Scrog tips

Honestly I use a volleyball net I found in a cheap volleyball set at Walmart. I cut it into strips and anchored them to the wall side by side. And I would start the scrog maybe a week into flower so you have some Idea of how much stretching they'll do

you could start scrogging them when they get 2 ft.....but just do what he ^ did w/ the net or they sell them for around 8-11 bucks at home & garden stores... just bought a 12x5 yesterday for $9 for my tomatos

U mean top?... That kinda boils down to the plant. With an idica I would. The last time I scrogged I had a blue cheese a blue widow and a super lemon haze and with the bc and bw the stocks grew so thick that I was scared to adjust them because they can and will crack.. and by that time so much of the other plants had grown through the net raising it wasn't an option so I topped all of them, cut relief points in the net and set up another one above it. After I topped the bc and bw were A LOT easier to work with but the slh was more sativa dominant so when I topped it the branches that grew couldn't really support their own weight and by the time the buds got big without tying them to the ceiling the weight of the colas would've killed the branches. So I would recommend it for indicas or idica dominant strains but idk about sativas
