I also have a little fan blowing out from inside the box! I Also have a medium fan blowing into the box! Do i need to some how try to get outside air (ambient air) to the box space? Yes, you need to cool the area that the box is in or the box itself. It sounds like your lights are heating up the whole room and that is why you box is not cooling.

An intake of cool fresh air for the box would be a good idea. Also, having an extraction fan to take out the old air is also a great thing. This will take hot stale air out and your intake will replace it with cool fresh air.

If you can make your extraction fan have a higher CFM than your intake fan you will create negative pressure for the room and will help circulate your air better.

IMO it would be better to put a door or from panel on your box to seal it. Then get your intake and extraction fans and hook them on ducting to vent in and out. This will keep from having to heat or cool your whole room. It will save you money and will be easier to control.

As for the ideal humidity:

Clones = 80%-95% / Vegetative = 60%-70% / Flowering = 40%-60%

You need outside air coming in.

If you can open a window to let fresh air into the storage area the surrounds your box then that would be enough. But if there is no fresh air entering the area than you need to provide that.

Just think of it this way, you are recreating nature. Everything that nature provides a plant must be provided by you to have a good grow.

75 is just fine man, they should be very happy. I run a HID closet at around 81F to be honest and don't see any ill effects. I can tell you you're totally cool @ 75F, no worries, thats perfect. In fact, I would even guess you're below average temp. I see most growers @ 78-ish. Anyone to collaborate?
