My plant is believe or not about 2 months old. This plant has been battling to live for a good while now. It has finally started to grow. But leaves keep drying up till there basically dead. My soil is peat moss, pearl lite and vermicomposting. Using galaxyhydro 300w. Using stealth box, pics are in the grow room forum. Temps are 75 hi ,71 low, humidity bouncing from 28 up to 42 % . I had led about 5 inches from plant but have moved it to top of box now. I adjusted my waters ph to 7.0. Is this a magnesium issue? Or light burn.

Please help.

More often than not the problem is your soil. I wouldn't use the vermicompost, are you using spaghum peat moss? What is the percentage/ratio of vermiculite, peat moss, and perlite? Generally you want to shoot for 50% aeration, which is extremely important! Your humidity is too low for veg, you want 40% at a minimum and not much higher than 60%. How high is your light above the plant? What were your watering habits and did you give it any fertilizers?

If the plant looks like that after two months you should toss it and start over the plant should be that tall in two weeks.

It is spaghum peat moss. Perlite is the MG brand. Soil mix is 35% perlite 60% peat 5% Verm. I've been watering every four days sometimes five. Led is about 22 inches from the plant. This is first grow with led. And new grow box I made. So I've been making adjustments to get everything right. I have thought about tossing it. But this one is a experiment plant. The new growth it has now is around 2 weeks. It's been growing better. Just the problem with what you see. I'm expecting it to be a hermi with all the stress its been through. I've topped it and doing lst. So should I redo the soil mix leave the verm out and just get all the soil off the roots and plant in new soil?

Way too much peat. It has a pH of 4.0 - 4.6 and holds water like mad. Perlite from Miracle Gro has time released nutes in it and holds water. The vermiculite also holds water and is unneeded with that much Perlite. It's like trying to grow in a sponge. Is there any drainage to speak of in the container? I mean watering every 5 days and it still looks like that.
