i recently moved, and need help with my setup. I keep going so many diffrent directions im making myself crazy, heres what i got, I have a grow room for vegging that is small. i can only get my cloner and one ebb and flow table in there. I have a large 8X10 flower room. my equipment i have is.
one 1000 wat hps lamp. One 400 watt lamp.

in my veg room i have a 60 site cloner and one ebb and flow table, It holds 6 large pots. In my flower room i have a large recirculating dwc system. it has 12.
5 gallon sites.

Should i get smaller pots for my veg ebb and flow table so i can get 12 plants? or should i just plant two plants into these large pots? or should i cut out the ebb and flow alltogether and just drop my small plants into my large dwc system. and veg and flower in same room?
What do you guys think what would be most productive?

Personally i would have many small pots for the veg cycle at least double what you want to put in the flower room. because you have good plants and weak ones. so you can pick which strong ones you want to put in there.

for veg and flower in the same room i would say no.. so you can have more of a cycle with more greens growing. clone, veg and then flower you can have a constant cycle

I see what your saying. i measured my pots there 9 1/2 by 9/ 1/2 square. do you think i can veg 2 or 3 plants in there? if so do you think they will get at least 12 inches high in those pots with 2 or three plants in them?

Lol, this is right out of the jorge cervantes book, five easy gardens, I bet! Lol. Cool. If I understand you harvest all 12 at once? Then I guess you could put 15 or so pots on the ebb table to pic the bbest 12 to go to flower. Or you could keep the 6 and work it so every four weeks or so depending on the strain you harvest six. That would be cool, how many ounces do you pull. Might be nice to harvest six at once. I am excited for you. I am almost thinking about scrapping dirt and going your rought.

hey can you tell me more. I can not figure out how to move from ebb and flow to dwc. I am serious about these questions as i am sick of dirt and want to move to your exact system. There is a ten pot dwc I am looking at and I have a botanicare 3x3. I could be going. I also have a 12 pot 2 liter bottle system I might use in place of the 3x3 that works pretty nice for veg but has space issues later. I cant wait to get that back to action.

Do you use hydroton or rockwool or what? Then when you transfer to dwc where do the roots go in the netpot? How do you work that. Right now I am organic soil and jorge does not explain how the roots work out changing from ebb to dwc. I have done dwc before and ebb so I know how they work independantly. TY.

yea man, Well i use rockwool starter cubes for seeds. and a bubbleponic cloner for clones. once rooted i put them in the ebb and flow for vegging. the ebb and flow uses hydroton for medium. just drop them in there. then after vegging just pickem up and plant them into the dwc. I am also using hydroton in the dwc setup. There 5 gallon buckets. the net pots are 9 inches round there the lid type netpots. I bought them from the hydro store. and they sit inside the bucket. I do finish in the dwc system. when you move your plants just be carfull not to damage roots. if any clay pellets get wrapped in the roots just leave them dont take a chance of damaging roots. when i get moved in here and setup again. i will post some pictures explaning my setup. everything i have is homebuilt. i put alot of thought into all these setups.
