need help with a DIY cxb3590 setup

Okay so I have a 10x10 room I'm trying to light I'm hoping to do a DIY COB setup but I'm having a hard time determining what a suitable rig for my room would be. I was considering ordering 48x cree cxb3590 diodes with the solderless holders and heatsinks for each and building my own chassis to house the lights.

What size room would a set up like this be able to light suitably, how much would o need to be sectioning off the room, I'm trying to get the largest area for my money...

Also can,someone give me a rundown of what would be a good driver setup to power all these lights, how many I can power off each driver and whether I would want to run in series or parallel... I'm trying to get the most efficiency out of these lights as possible, and I will have help rigging all this and wiring it from a knowledgeable friend I just need to get the correct thing so...

Or if anyone has any input on whether I would be better off going citizen or vero and getting a few more lights rather than shelling out for crees?

Thanks for the suggestion im going to do some reading on the luminus, I'm trying to do my best to figure this out in a short time but there's so much info out there.. I will say though im glad I discovered DIY lighting because I almost spent thousands on premade lights...

I would suggest to build multiple fixtures to cover the area. You can fit 4 - 4x4 tents with a 2ft walkway between all tents in a 10x10 room. Takes 600-650 watts to light a 4x4 with quality cobs. That would take 2 HLG-320 drivers per fixture.
Luminus would be a better choice. More light for less money. The cheapest way out would be the 4ft light strips. Samsung f series or Bridglux EB Gen 2.

What if I were to do 2 4x8 areas instead would the required wattage just be doubled or is it,more complicated than that. And so you think splitting the room up is preferable to having it a wide open 10x10? I'm assuming this will ease the lighting requirements a bit, and would also allow me to have a tent for veg and flower... But I would lose overall yield obviously from cutting down the size of the room?

All in what you want...what are your intentions with the area? Is this a flower only area only running 1 strain or is this the only area you have to work with? If it's the only area id split it so you can veg and flower seperate or run autos and photos seperate.

This is my only grow area yes, I'm thinking maybe just splitting it in half might be my plan. Should,make it easier to duct in the exhausts and intakes into both areas rather than trying to regulate temps,and shit on 4 tents, this is gonna,be my first real indoor grow so it's gonna be tough as it is hehe

sounds like 3000-4000W -
if you are able to cut and drill aluminium rectangular tubes and need
500-600L of hot service water/day - close to your grow - i can recommend watercooled led light.
Together with a heatexchanger you can produce enough hot water for ~8 pers. household.

To cover 10 x 10 with 48 x cxb3590 you need to drive them @
~ 70-75W each with ~170LM/W (cd bin)
to cover 2 x 4x8 tent (what is more practicable if you veg + flower)
with your 48 cxb cd cobs you could reach ~200LM/W @ 2 x 1200W tent

Mean Well drivers is the best and most common choice in the diy section.
