Need Help When Should I Harvest? +REP

Hey guys this is my first ever grow started with one great white shark from ghs and added another just before flowering as a 12/12 from seed experiment.

in my eyes the girls look healthy but i am total noob so some more experienced diagnosis would be greatly appreciated

also they are about 6.5 weeks into flowering my guess would be another 3 weeks maybe more for the 12/12 from seed (no amber hairs yet). however the larger plant has about 40 - 50% amber so i feel that 3 weeks might be a bit too long any advice would be greatly appreciated

that one plant looks like its 4 inchs tall ? they look good. what kind?

they are both Great White Shark from Green House Seeds and ye the smaller plant is about 4 inches but you would not believe how frosty she is. im actually looking forward to smoking that over the bigger plant she just looks soooo tasty

i agree 2 weeks tops on the larger plant but the smaller one has just shown a couple amber hairs i think 2 weeks might be a bit too soon for her ill just judge it to the best of my ability thanks to all who helped +rep

hey they looking ok, for such a small amount of light, that tiny one looks cute

I'd recommend investing in a jewelers loupe or a magnifying glass to take a look at the trichromes. Although you can tell somewhat when a plant is ready based on when the hairs change color, it is best to harvest at the peak when your trichromes are at least 50-60% milky and some are beginning to turn amber. You can find a jewelers loupe on amazon for less than 10 bucks including shipping so I'd say grab one of those ASAP and take a look. The longer you wait (and the more amber trichromes you get) the more of a couch-lock high you will get from smoking.

wow 5 weeks i think would be over kill considering they are both in their 7th week of flower thanks for the comment

ye i've got a decent magnifying glass i can use, just that its my first grow i was after a more experienced opinion plus i really enjoy the couch-lock high over the head high thanks

yep she is my pride and joy really looking forward to her she even smells more than the larger plant thanks

opened the box today and to my surprise the buds are visibly larger than yesterday i think they are within 2 weeks of finishing since ive been told they gain the most size in the last 2 weeks can anyone confirm or disprove this thanks
