Need help w/ growroom and lighting!

Just have a couple quick questions on where me and a buddy might find like a cabinet or something to fit in a closet to turn into a veg/flower cabinet. Does amyone know like at wal-mart, target, lowes etc where i could find one for around 80 dollars?? Or could someone show me some ideas or pics? We only want to grow 3 plants at a time and were hopin for at least 1 female so we can clone her.

Also on lighting right now we are using cfls but im wondering for flowering has anyone ever used the screw in bulbs for the hps? what if we got 4 100 watt hps bulbs that screw in? Is that just as effective as having 1 hps in a ballast?

Wal Mart and K mart both sell cheap furniture, but if you wanna do this in the back of a closet why not consider buying a piece of plywood , have it cut to the size of this closet's back wall at Lowes/Home Depot, paint it the same color as the closet and make a false wall. Easy to do.... just nail a few furing strips to the sides of the closet, arrange a way to move the plywood, and you're good to go.

HPS lights require a ballest to work. Lots of them on Ebay, look there. In that small a space I'd go with a 159 watt HPS. You can use it for both cloning/seed starting and flowering just by changing the hours of light/dark.

thank you for the info heres a quick update though of what we just found looking in our garage and it fits in the closet!

A storage cabinet! dimensions are:

63 1/2" tall
35 1/2" wide
19 1/4" long

theres already a little shelf at the top of it to keep supplies or what not so that gives us about 3ft by 1 1/2 by 4ft 4 inches tall to work with. Is it possible to do flowering and vegging in 2 separate area in the cabinet if we divided it somehow? How would we go about this? What would we divide it into? And as for lighting for veg would a 2ft flourescent fixture work good and for flowering an hps? need some advice and also what is that double sided material called where its black on one and white on the other and where can you get it? lowes? wal mart? menards? thanks for the help guys let me know what youd do to mod this cabinet!! ill take any and all suggestions!

Are you doing a perpetual harvest? I just trying to understand y u need half for veg and half for flower? If you were only growing 3 at a time you wouldnt need to divide it. But if you want a mother in one half and clones flowering in the other I would just put a piece of plywood or simillar down the middle. Just make sure no light comes through the other side.

ok well what kind of lighting would you recomend for veg and flower?

if you have the gwop I would say go with the typical MH for veg, hps for flower, either that or you can get a conversion lamp with both HPS/MH. If you can try to sprout under flouros but you don't have to.

whats the cheapest light that I could veg and flower with? and where do i get it?
